My wife's car was looking coolant/oil and no local shops could narrow down the issue. I take it here and they diagnose and fix the issue! We had some issues with the new part they installed and they fixed the part next day for no additional cost! The shuttle service is awesome as well! Shout out to Lina, for being a great service advisor!

Tried to order a vehicle from these liars. We were told there were no ad-ons to the MSRP for "handling", protection packages, etc. They sent a document for me to sign that had NO PRICES LISTED on it. I refused to sign it without any prices listed. I later learned that there WERE add-ons for their protection package and handling. They intentionally tried to conceal it from me. Liars. Caveat Emptor, folks.

We recently purchased a car from this location. We signed all the paperwork and took the car home. After a couple of weeks we had to go by the dealership to take care of one final step. When we went in we were told that we did not qualify after all and had to give the car back to them. After all my years of purchasing vehicles I have never had this happen before! We will never deal with this dealership again. Buyer beware.

Don't ever buy a car from Phil Long Ford at Motor City. I bought a new Truck about a month ago based on the fact they can install a few accessories I needed to use the car. They said the accessories would be in the store within two days. It has now been a month and I still don't have my accessories. They flat out lied during the sales process and will not stand behind their promises. Do not shop there and do not trust them.

MUST READ!! Do whatever it takes to AVOID this place! What They Said: My wife and I were referred directly to the General Manager/Partner (Mark Barton) in August of 2022. We were expecting our third child and needed a larger vehicle to accommodate. After showing up at the dealership, Mark introduced us to Everton Allen (sales rep) who showed us a few vehicles. We looked at the 2022 Lincoln Aviator and began asking questions. One of the questions while Everton and I were standing behind the vehicle with the liftgate open was whether or not the third row was 2 or 3 seats? His answer was 3. That was what we wanted because of the size of our family and the desire to occasionally take another couple with us.What Happened: We proceeded to test drive and then purchase the vehicle. On the fourth day following this purchase, I was loading something in the back of the vehicle and noticed there was only 2 seat belts, so I immediately called Everton. The first response was to tell me that I must have been thinking of the Explorer that we looked at immediately before the Aviator. This was not the case at all and I even confirmed that the Explorer we looked at had only 2 seats in the 3rd row as well. What They Said:He then proceeded to take responsibility and told me he would call me back once he talked with his manager. Everton and I went back and forth on texting/calls for more than a week while he tried to find a solution. In the end he said they would take our vehicle back on "trade-in" and then we could buy/order what we wanted. I said absolutely not and proceeded to call Mark Barton directly. Mark said this was the first he had heard of the situation and would make it right. He called me back in 10-15 minutes and told me to order a new 2023 Aviator exactly how we wanted it and they would buy our original Aviator back at the price we paid, we just cover the difference (if any). What Happened:We built and ordered a new 2023 Aviator in September of 2022. When it arrived a week ago they asked me to come down and finish the paperwork. I asked that they go ahead and do the window tinting and clear bra ahead of time so that I could only make one trip from Denver. Everton called me back and said they will start working on it and it would likely be done by the time we get down there on Saturday (2/4), and if not, they would bring the vehicle up to us when done.We arrived at the dealership Saturday morning and the vehicle had not been touched. When we entered the show room Mark Barton was there, said hi, and quickly disappeared. My wife and I sat down and Everton brought the financing paperwork over to us. The monthly cost for our new Aviator was $650 more per month AND was on a longer financing term that our first. A difference of over $50,000 during the course of the loan.I told them this is not what we agreed upon and so the manager (Michael) came over. He proceeded to tell us that sometimes Mark Barton says things without thinking and that they simply could not honor what he said to me in August. They desperately tried to negotiate with us on our way out with three attempts to drop the monthly cost (still hundreds above what we were paying for the 2022). Ironically, as I am sharing this story with a co-worker and another acquaintance, they both shared AWFUL experiences with the same dealership. The decision is yours, but if they are willing to do this to us, what would they be willing to do to YOU?

Take your business anywhere else. Astoundingly unprofessional from the start. I had an appointment, with an email confirmation, and when I arrived they had no record of it and weren't ready for me. I sold Phil Long preowned my vehicle on a saturday, didn't leave with a check as accounting was closed, so I was told I would have one Monday-Wednesday at the latest. What they failed to say, was that they won't cut a check on a vehicle with a lien until they receive the title. I have sold vehicles with a lien to dealers before and have always left with a check in hand, one earlier this year, and same for a buddy that sold his with a lien. It's now been almost two weeks with next to zero communication and no check (they've had the vehicle in their possession this whole time). Nothing but empty promises that "we're doing everything we can to expedite this process." Upon questioning why I couldn't be cut a check I was given nothing but half-assed shady dealership excuses. If I had traded my vehicle instead of selling it I could have left with the new vehicle before they received the title to my original vehicle. If I had purchased a vehicle I seriously doubt I could taken the vehicle home and given them an empty promise and an IOU that I'd pay them for the vehicle eventually. Overall an absolutely horrendous experience that is, unfortunately, still ongoing. Take your business somewhere with competent employees that are at the very least honest and upfront about the transaction process. It's abhorrent that the bar has been set so low for dealerships.

Service at Long is just okay. Nice work by the technician on my brakes (thank you!), but the rest of the experience was blah. Too much back and forth between "quick lane" vs "mechanical" service advisors, an advisor who didn't want to honor a Long web site service offer, and I got my dirty car back still dirty! A coupon for a free cheapie car wash does not impress me. Don't care if Long doesn't have a car wash...how about a garden hose and a bucket??? I got the big push for five stars. I suggest they actually earn praise, not hope or beg for it when undeserved.

For the love of baby Jesus. I inquired about a vehicle in August. I received a phone call on the same day, which was fine and told them I was no longer interested because I found a similar one for a better deal. I am still receiving phone calls from all sorts of phone numbers. I have blocked at least seven numbers. Get a clue, if I told one person I'm not interested two stinking months ago, what makes you think harassing me over and over is going to make me want to purchase anything.

Purchased a new superduty from these guys with a factory winch. The winch wasn't delivered with the truck so it had to be brought back 3 weeks after deliver to install (I get it...supply chain). During install they forgot to tell me that my truck wouldn't be complete in the 4/5 hours quoted...that it would be done Saturday at some point. Couldn't get anyone to return my calls. When I got there it was parked in a back lot and the service writer accused me of harassing them (I called once and left a voice main on two of the service guys voices mails). After I picked it up I noticed the front bumper had been scratched. Called the service manger and he said there was nothing he could do about it. Don't do any business with these crooks.

I called ahead before driving here from north of Denver to check the availability on a specific make and model vehicle my wife and I wanted to purchase. They confirmed everything prior to making the trip to Colorado Springs and set an appointment for us. Upon arrival they decided to let us know that the sticker price was $40k higher than the posted price online. That's not a typo - $40k over asking price. I should've known there was an error or potentially a scam but expected a little more from a certified dealership. BEWARE OF THEIR POSTED PRICES. Thank you for wasting our Saturday.

This place is a money hungry piece of s**** I tried to work with them but they sold me a lemon, ghost me, don't communicate amongst their service and sales department. I spent way too much money on this used vehicle to begin with to only have a totaled motor due to their faulty inspection 9 months after date of purchase. Don't buy a car here if you want to keep your sanity.

Was looking at Electric Vehicles at Phil Long in Colorado Springs. The model Mustang Mach-E was listed at $48k and change but the salesman said there was a dealer markup of about $14k. I told him that I would never purchase a vehicle from a dealer that marks up their vehicles. This is just plain GREED. While in the showroom, they had other models with $25,000 and $36,000 dealer markups. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from Phil Long Ford. I checked in Denver and Phil Long does the same thing. Pitiful. After looking at the responses from their "business manager" (Phil L) ---- "We're disappointed to hear of the negative experience you had at our location. We would like to have a better understanding of your experience including who you worked with." I think the manager has a very low I.Q. as he states he would like to have a better understanding. HA HA HA. If he can't figure out the understanding from what is written, then he needs to quit and get a job at BestBuy.
