We have been patients at both Penrose Main and St. Francis Medical Center Hospitals and have never been disappointed in the staff's kindness, professionalism and quality level of care at these facilities. We also appreciate their Prayers for the staff and patients twice a day! We feel Blessed to have these hospitals in our community and in our lives. Thank You! The Turner's

1/31/24 I had a hernia mesh repair surgery yesterday at Penrose Hospital. The surgeon was Musonza with CSSA. This hospital and the staff are awesome! Super friendly, caring and knowledgeable. So thankfully blessed to have found this place! If your in need of a surgery or hospital care, look no further than Penrose and CSSA!

This is the worst emergency room visit in my 49 years. My daughter got injured on a ski trip and I decided to go to an emergency room hospital vs urgent care as most hospitals offer MRI. First the staff is very rude. They checked in my daughter and then saw her and performed an X-ray and then we asked about an MRI since nothing was broken on her knee. They told us we have an MRI machine but it takes to LONG!!!! The reason we went to a hospital was we knew she would need an MRI and urgent care does not do that. Then after they took the X-rays they came in to collect payment. 500.00. Had I known that we would have gone to an UC Health urgent care and more the likely have gotten the same care with a lower deductible. I will never go to this er ever again. I am not upset about the money. I am upset at the care we got.

no no no no no no no no no no oh no they stole me as a baby and did weird things to my legs 100% I know it, I feel it in my bones. You can remove my reviews all you want but I know there is something sketchy with this branch specifically. Terrible care quality lol how about you email me what exactly went on babes? Little tiny baby child with an undeveloped puss puss what happened huh? You wanna be honest of keep deleting these love?

Was great and friendly, very professional and made me fill welcome there. Was only there for DR visit not hospital stay. Seems like a well run place was clean.

If I could do a negative number I would. It's rare to get a good nurse and when you do they're overworked. I was a Level One trauma and many a time treated roughly and left to lie in my own feces. I checked out AMA. The whole stay left me even more traumatized.

Go to Memorial Hospital if you want quality care! My Brother just had open heart surgery at Penrose and the staff at this Hospital is horrific. They're under staffed so he was in ICU for 4 days and not once did they clean him up or put him in a clean gown or clean him up after his surgery. He was having issues in ICU and they finally discovered that the suction tube in his chest had been accidentally disconnected from the machine providing the suction. Then the hospital doesn't communicate. We've been down every day and they are supposed to be communicating with his sisters but when we showed up, they had moved him to Penrose North and didn't tell anyone. Overall, a horrible experience.

Awful healthcare. They literally don't help. Been here multiple multiple times, every time they forget about me in a corner or they disperse my fluids from my iv from a command hook on the wall and drain them on the floors

I went to Penrose Main; as a referral from my primary doctor.There was plenty of parking; handicap; general even valet.I was not sure where I was going; but the Information center got me going in the right direction.I had to change floors and areas; two different worker asked me if I needed help; I appreciated the willingness of the hospital staff to help.Big Hospitals can be intimidatingly places to visit; I appreciated my visit today.Very nice courtyard and cafeteria.

Came here to visit a friend who had surgery. The parking is a bit of a challenge but the hospital is very easy to navigate, it is very clean and well-maintained, and there are private rooms for the patients. I was impressed.
