Medical care is good. However, Optum's administration (billings specifically) is very bad. Be prepared for double billings and overcharges, followed by threatening collection agency turnover letters. when you try to address the issue over the phone they simply say they will escalate the issue within their system. Then, a few days later you get another "past due" bill in the mail. After an emergency room visit the Optum staff at the doctor's office said there was no copay because the visit was a follow up from the emergency room visit. we have called Optum after every monthly bill was received and all they can tell us is that the matter has been escalated. At first they blamed everything on our insurance company. we explained the situation to our insurance company and they said Optum could resolve the problem if they simply resubmit the claim with a code for follow up visit instead of a simple office visit. It has been 7 months now and still no resolution.

I'm in here today seeing internal medicine. The nurse is in head to toe protection.... no personality, not friendly, really no compassion at all. I've never felt like a paycheck to someone as much as I do right now sitting here. I'm grateful my Kaiser coverage starts Nov 1... BYE Optum, Davita, CSHP, and any other name it will change to again.

If i could give this 0 stars, I would. I have had Dr Cerniglia for 16 years. As I grew older, it appeared she was always less attentive to my problems each time. Does not ever take into account family history and referred me to places that don't accept younger patients. The ladies at the front desk are also really not that nice either. The bedside manner is horrible at this place.

Don't go here. Front desk workers are rude. They will treat you like crap if you don't have the Covid Shot. Unprofessional nurses and super creepy doctor. Nurse rolled her eyes when I said I didn't have the shot and then I was left in the room for way too long. The doctor came in wearing goggles, mask and gloves and then completely saturated his gloves with hand sanitizer. This place is a joke.

I really love my PA whom I have been seeing for many years, but the new management company(Optum) seems to be lacking in management which effects patient care. Long waits and responses to requests seems to be a problem. I hope this is not a trend in the medical field.

I just can't do it anymore. Itreid and tried and tried. My father needed his scrips refilled. I placed three calls over the course of a week. Each time I was on hold for 30 minutes or more. Each time I was assured that I'd receive a call back. The third time I was told the patient advocate would be in touch within 24 hours. I NEVER received a call from anyone. Finally I went to the office and was able to get what I needed after waiting a long time. I have pulled all of my employees and my family from this practice. Only my father is left. Last week my father needed a covid test. We had to go with the one at citadel mall as we could not get ahold of anyone. If you can't communicate with a doctor, nurse or anyone else, how is that healthcare? Do yourself a favor, go with UC Health. Tomorrow I'm pulling Dad out of this place.

I'm making a review without actually having been to this office because I think everyone should know and beware that this office operates on a very erroneous and unprofessional level. I am a receptionist in Irvine, CA and this office has repeatedly called our Civil Engineering office (today so far they have called five times in a row without leaving a voicemail) and they always ask for an unknown person named Mary Ann. No last name is ever mentioned and we do not have a Mary Ann here. They have been calling for at least two months now. Once I spoke to a woman who introduced herself as Stacey with Dr. Harper's office. I asked her to please remove us from her call list but she only kept calling the next week. Not only that but now I get automated calls asking for the same person and also automated voicemails. They are reminders that Mary Ann has an appointment on so and so day. Today I found an email for this number and I explained the situation and half an hour later I got five calls in a row as if they read my email and were out for revenge. Stay away from this place.

Horrible doctors office. My experience is incompetent staff and doctors. I called with chest pain and shortness of breath. The receptionist made me an appointment for three weeks out. On the day of my visit the doctor called and told me there was nothing he could do for chest pain and told me to go to the ER. The receptionist should have told me that! Another time I was having some serious health issues but wanted to change doctors in office because the last doctor I saw had the personality of a trout. They needed "supervisor approval" so I waited a few days called back and then waited some more. I ended up going to another doctor because I couldn't wait any longer but a month later they finally called me back with the approval. This place is a mess!

The doctors are great. However, they have no sense of privacy at the front desk. They have provided another individual my personal information and allowed the same individual to make changes to my account without my permission. If they manage non-medical information this poorly, I can't imagine the number of HIPPA violations taking place.

I should have read the reviews before I came here If I could rate this place a zero I would! I could not schedule a physical without scheduling a new patient visit with the doctor first! That's was a waste of time and copay. The second visit that was scheduled for me was for a physical. I took the day off and when I checked in I was called right away. So far so good. As I'm getting my vitals checked the MA asks why are we seeing you today, there's not a reason stated on your chart. I said a physical she said well we don't have time for a physicAl and there's no one available to see you for that. She alSo mentioned the appointment is only scheduled for a brief appt! I explained to her what I was told and what I had to do to get this spot scheduled! She said she was sorry and she could reschedule me. I have worked at doctors offices before and I know how to schedule patients for appointments and guess what....it's one of the easiest jobs!!!!! Don't waste guy time and money here!!!!!

The office is big and very spacey. The waiting rooms are extremely dull! The receptionist that sign you in are friendly and greet you with a smile. I am a patient of Dr. Kunstle, he is a really nice guy. I think it all depends on the provider. The nursing staff no matter who they are under are amazing. They're really helpful and welcoming.

I just had an awesome blood draw. The woman had been doing this for years and said it was her passion. It was quick and painless.

My husband and I had an appointment for my newborn son here, and at another facility later in the day because we were going to see which location we liked best for him. After seeing Dr. Burke, we went to get blood drawn for my newborn and came across Charlene and Marianna (hope I'm spelling her name right) and let me tell you, they were A.W.E.S.O.M.E! They were so loving and sweet to us new and scared parents and they took his blood (on two separate occasions) so wonderfully. They were very careful and patient and he hardly cried! -whereas at the hospital I delivered, they squeezed him for blood so hard he screamed the entire time! I cannot brag on them enough! Marianna made such an impression on us we actually didn't even go to the other appointment we had. We'll be loyal customers because of them!

Absolutely amazing. I couldn't ask for a better experience. They're so nice but professional at the same time. I'm 17 and i come here for everything I need and they are so understanding and caring. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! I definitely recommend.

Carmen Aguirre was a very sweet, informative, and nice doctor. She was very relational and gave great advice. However, the lady that checked me out was so unprofessional and rude (skinny Caucasian lady with her hair tied back, probably in her mid 40s). I felt like she hated her job and didn't want to help me. She had a bad attitude and lacked any kind of warmness from her heart. My advice to the doctors at this office would be to hire people that want to work here, that are genuine, and have a love for people. I will be coming back to see Carmen because I really liked her, but that lady at the front has gotta go!
