Always an ordeal with getting my family's medications at this pharmacy and regularly an attitude from the staff which is consistent with their complete apathy, laziness, and outright rudeness at times. You call to check a med's status and regardless of text confirmations of meds being processed, it is never actually being processed, most times you will be told you have no prescriptions at all and you have to press them to look harder after which they'll mysteriously find it in some place they didn't look in the first place. There are at least two staffers, a young male and a middle age-ish female that seem to find joy in giving customers a hard time, as observed by several other people we've discussed this issue with. Hope you don't get them when you call or drop in. Best to just find a place with more competent and helpful staff.

Prescription was put in at 10am, received notification it would be ready by 1pm. Got there at 715pm and after waiting 15 min, there were about 3 people in front. We were told the prescription would be ready in one to two days. When asked reason for the delay, they are a really busy pharmacy.

I’ve had several prescriptions filled at this pharmacy and have had positive experiences. The staff works really hard to offer good service. I’m impressed with their professionalism. I’m happy to give them my business. In January my insurance stopped using KS so when I have an rx that needs filling right away and the pharmacy at the Air Force base is closed I come here. They use discount cards to make my prescriptions affordable. I really can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff is.

It must be understaffed or they just don’t care anymore. I’ve come here for 12+ years and it’s gotten so slow I cannot stand it. Don’t ever come here thinking you have a prescription waiting, you don’t. Give it another hour and maybe…

Since moving to this area, we have shopped at Kings Sooper several times. We appreciate the military discount given on the 1st and 15th of each month. For the third time we have had the cashier, Ruthanne. She is lazy and rude. She charged us twice for one item, my wife told her and was smarted off to that "I know." Funny she wasn't correcting the error until she was told. She smashed some of our groceries grabbing them instead of turning on the belt to bring it closer to her. Everytime show her King Soopers card on the phone instead of swiping it like all the other cashiers do, she informs us that we will put the phone in front of the green light and if we do it correctly, it will register. Lazy and rude attitude. Then when showed her the military ID, she said "Put that away!" then took off without any explanation and came back with a manager who gave us the discount. She has had three chances and we will go to anybody but her.

This review is for King Sooper in general. I am so tired of the coupons and the ridiculous way you have to load them and find them online. This week I was looking for a digital coupon and could not even find it when I put the name of the item into the search area. I finally discovered why. The coupon was listed with 2 other items under another item name - so instead of looking for fritos it was under smartfood popcorn. I watched an older man come up to the service counter and holding out his phone asked for help with joining the store for the lower prices. The service guy was so nice, but there was no way the older man was going to be able to load the coupons etc every single week etc. The older mans daughter came over to help and see what was going on and she told the clerk that her dad would never be able to negotiate the system. King Soopers discriminates by making it so hard to get the sale prices. I moved here 4 years ago and rarely shop this store. WalMart is better and Safeway coupon system is infinitely easier to negotiate. Even the coupons they send you in the mail half the time do not work and you have to ask for help. The ads are impossible to interpret. Oh, you have to buy 4 to get that price. But, I am only one person eating that item so I do not get the sale price. How is that ok? Why do we let these stores get away with this discrimination? That is what it is.

I'm giving this place one star because I can't minus stars. Few days ago I was stopped by a manager name Kathleen asking me for my receipt. There were other customers walking in and out. The only difference I could see is I was black. Then she called over Joe another part of management. Who asked me the same thing. I refused to do so. This is not apart of their policy. I was told by corporate and the general manager. I was offered a $25 gift certificate for my troubles and "to make me feel better", general manager. I refused.

Pros: this pharmacy repeatedly helps me find the best price for our prescriptions. First time we went to them, they explained that generic was available and contacted my doctor to get permission for generic. Prescription went from $250 to $150 (expensive because our insurance is horrible.). But they didn’t stop there. They kept trying different things and that originally $250 prescription finally got down to $45. They’ve done it more than once or twice. They are professional and polite.Cons: They’re super busy. Lines can get pretty long. They save me so much money, I’m okay waiting patiently.

This place is really awful. It has gone downhill significantly. It never had good selection of meats or fish. Constantly out of stock on items and the staff are rude. I'm looking for a better place to go. Even if I have to drive to get there.

I understand the plastic bag situation. Today I went to pick up groceries thinking they would charge me for each bag. They did not bag over 100 items. I called to complain that I was just there a month ago and they charged me for bags. I always bring the bags back for recycle, but brought the wrong car. The gal told me Corporate says that we are going completely bagless in 2024. And all pick ups will be bagless. Why didn't that tell me that before checkout. Well Corporate it's still 2023.

I had a great experience yesterday!I live in a different state so I decided to have some flowers delivered to my Mom for her Birthday. My instacart shopper Heather from The Boulder table mesa store went above and beyond to help me select a beautiful bouquet! In an age where customer service is generally lacking, it's nice to see that there are still people who take pride in their jobs.

This has to be one of the poorest managed king Soopers in Colorado. I was just there, and the courtesy clerk next to me who did not have an order, watched as I was backing my order she was leaned over resting on the checkout stand. I provided the feedback to management and the response was, well she's pretty new. Their service has just gone down and they have no respect for the customer. I sure hope the merger between Albertsons/Safeway and Kroger does not go through. I enjoy shopping at Safeway in Monument because the staff is courteous and actually works for their pay. Very disappointing as I have been a long time king Soopers customer, and have worked for them in the past.

I used to really like this pharmacy, the staff were/are still very kind & even know me & my family members by name. But it’s gone downhill very quickly. I’ve had issues with prescriptions almost every time I need a refill over the last 7 months but I chose to stick with them as I know many pharmacies are having a hard time lately. However, the icing on the cake was this last month when due to multiple errors they made on every single prescription I couldn’t refill any of my normal medications on-time. It took many calls to the pharmacy, my insurance & my doctors office whom the pharmacy said they called but didn’t in order to finally refill most of my prescriptions. Turns out the problem was errors in THEIR system, it was the Pharmacies mistake! To make things MUCH worse one of my prescriptions I picked up, they only dispensed half of the medication on accident. I realized this after I had gotten home & opened the pharmacy bag. This was a very dangerous oversight! Now I’ll have to deal with refilling that medication early, filing a formal complaint & paying out of pocket. This pharmacy is now making serious mistakes that could harm patients. My other family members are having serious problems recently at this Pharmacy as well, one of them being a heart medication which my Mother had to go 3 days without. Something has changed especially over the last few months. The only upside is that the staff are very friendly & just wonderful. But something has changed causing a plethora of serious problems unfortunately.

I’ve used this pharmacy for years and the service has declined so much recently. Prescriptions take forever to be filled. What’s worse, I have received multiple texts saying my prescriptions were ready for pickup, only to go to the pharmacy and they don’t have them. Tonight I had this exact problem. I told the pharmacy tech my script was filled a week ago and that another technician even told me it was filled over the weekend. She got frustrated and said her colleague wasn’t smart and didn’t know what he was doing. The whole situation lacked maturity and my confidence in their business quickly diminished. I recommend using another pharmacy.
