BEWARE GMC.
I purchased a brand new 2021 GMC truck (Autonation GMC Park Meadows) with all the bells and whistles and only 30 miles on it, expecting a reliable and high-quality vehicle. Instead, I have experienced nothing but frustration and disappointment.
Despite using the truck primarily for highway driving, such as grocery runs and school pickups, and towing a small load once, significant issues began at just 39,000 miles. The transmission failed and had to be replaced. Immediately after, a persistent knock under the driver’s seat appeared, which the dealership was unwilling to fix. They tried to pass it off as struts and change me for the struts. When I declined, they tried to charge me for the diagnostics. I again declined stating that this started with the transmission. Ferguson GMC told me to take my truck and never come back. I said I would take it to another place for a second opinion. The next place found and fixed the issue. I was a bolt left loose on the transmission.
The problems continued from there. The motor mounts failed, followed by the catalytic converter and related sensors, a leaky hose that was against the firewall that they blamed on me, as well as other issues. Based on the pictures, it's apparently the entire engine and transmission.
Now, my truck has been sitting at the dealership, Mike Maroone, for the past 6 weeks, and they haven’t even diagnosed the current problem. The entire front end, including the engine, is disassembled and scattered across the floor and my tonneau cover. They have told me no official diagnosis, but they are waiting on parts that are back ordered and no one has.
GMC’s response has been utterly unacceptable. They refuse to classify my truck as a lemon, offer a buyback, or any solution for this problematic truck. They claim their only responsibility is to get it back to working order, which they have been doing repeatedly. Possibly just trying to cook off the warranty time.
This process has been excruciatingly slow and inefficient. I was even told that my truck is not a priority because the mechanic still must make a paycheck.
I have asked for the service manager to call me as well as the GM. I haven't received so much as a text or voicemail.
I have had calls with GMC corporate. They didn't do any research into the problems I have had. They just told me that since it was out of warranty that they couldn't offer me a buy back. I had to inform them that it was under warranty. Haven't heard back from them.
I expected much more from a brand like GMC. This experience has been a nightmare, and I strongly advise anyone considering a GMC vehicle to reconsider. The quality and service issues I have faced are inexcusable and reflect poorly on the brand. I will never buy a GMC vehicle again.

My husband and I came by this dealership, last month, on a Saturday around 3pm to test drive a diesel truck. The truck was for me but I have never driven a diesel and wanted to feel it out before making a purchase. Tyler Kison, greeted us when we showed up and was never pushy. We appreciated this so much from the beginning. We had already seen the truck on their website and came to see it in person. There was two trucks that looked the same and he explained the difference. He took my info, asked which truck, went in, got keys, came back and gave me his number, in case of anything. My husband and I took the truck for a test drive and I really liked how the truck felt. When we got back, he asked us what we thought and if we had any questions. My husband had some, as I couldn’t think of any at that time. He did inform us that they had some discounts and pulled a paper from the truck and on the back, it had the discounts listed. After that, he was never pushy. We got his card info and and went about our way. I contacted him Monday, and communicated through email, as my job is medical and I cannot be on my phone. Also, I’ve had very bad experiences at other dealerships and my trust was gone. By that Friday, we went in, signed paperwork, and got our 2024 GMC elevation in the prettiest Grey (the same one we test drove). We highly recommend Tyler Kison as your sales person and recommend you come get your next vehicle at Ferguson Buick GMC.

Just bought my granddaughter a car from Ferguson Buick. Absolutely. The best experience I have ever had buying a car. From our salesman to the manager to even the owner, they were all a big help to us on getting the car for my granddaughter. If you own a GMC vehicle, this is the place you need to bring it for service. The staff at this location consistently go above and beyond to deliver top-notch service, and it truly shows.
I am now on my third GMC vehicle (currently still own ) and Carrie has always been my service advisor. She has guided me through repairs and kept me updated on issues every step of the way.
In addition to regular maintenance, I encountered an issue with my sunroof due to poor installation by an out-of-state dealership. The dealership had installed an aftermarket sunroof before I purchased my BRAND NEW vehicle. After experiencing hail damage a few years later, I discovered rust on the sunroof, which shouldn't have happened. When I took my vehicle to the GMC dealership for advice, I learned that the out-of-state dealership had installed the aftermarket sunroof incorrectly.
The team here not only directed me to a reliable place for hail damage repair but also worked with the repair company to fix the sunroof issue. Travis, the service manager, has been incredibly kind and skillful, going above and beyond to assist me with this matter. Despite the sunroof issue being caused by another dealership, Travis, Carrie and the team have taken pride in ensuring my vehicle functions correctly.
I want to take a moment to thank Carrie, Travis, and all the team members for their continued friendliness and dedication to quality workmanship. I highly recommend this shop for any GMC vehicle service needs and I will continue to take both of my vehicles there for service.

I have been coming to this dealership for the past 10 years for both opportunity to buy and also service. Of the past 4 vehicle purchases the first 3 they lost to another dealer over price. They finally won my business last year when I got my 2024 GMC 2500 Denali ultimate. They tried to tack on a ceramic coating that I did not ask for but I managed to avoid paying for that. Service has been good for the most part, I feel they are way under staffed. It seems apparent the dealer is struggling to stay in business. Also I think the biggest eye sore is the collection of vehicles the owner stores all over the dealership, in the service department, the sales floor it makes the place look like a junk yard. The employees also acknowledge they can’t do their job as efficiently with the cars all over their work area.
Lots of changes needed to make this dealership look and operate like a professional organization.

I'm a new customer due to a shop I've gone to for 15+ years change to new owners. So I was cautious and budget conscious to find a reputable place to call home for my gmc. I took a chance on Ferguson shop. They were very attentive to my issues and took on my needs same day. Yes my repairs were not cheap. But cost was reasonable for me. Thank you all at Ferguson for taking care of my vehicle and I think I've found my car repairs home.
