I wish I could give zero stars. I haven't received my security deposit or any written statement of charges for over 60 days! I have called, emailed, and am now sending a seven-day demand letter. They don't care.

The worst management company in the entire Springs. Caleigh doesn't follow up with simple inquiries, and no one on their team seems to care. Their new address is a joke. They don't respond to any type of problems, and it's nearly impossible to get a response unless you threaten to leave them. Their online system is garbage. No surprise why employees keep quitting. Take your money and business elsewhere. Also, beware of hidden fees.

This company is less than professional. The phone calls go to a phone bank in Florida, and the door of the address they have has a note that says BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, NO WALK INS. I called today, the 14th of the month, to see why the money they collected from our renters was not in our account and I was told it was collected, but not disbursed. WHAT????

This company is a SCAM!!! The fact is they are a greedy company who is incredibly unresponsive and impossible to get a hold of. My tenants spent two days without hot water because they couldn't bother to call. I canceled with them and went to a family owned company and couldn't be happier. Now it's been two months and they haven't released the last month rent or the deposit. Stay far away from them. Don't fall for the pitch, they only want your money and provide little to no service.

I personally don't recommend renting from them. They never answer the phone or reply to emails. They stole my security deposit... charged me $400 for "professional cleaning" and another for $400 for "general maintenance". I had the apartment professionally cleaned prior to moving out, which was 1000x more clean than when I moved in. I left the apartment in better condition than what I received upon moving in, to be honest. I also had homeless people living under the stairs, which HRG did nothing about. Gun shell casings littering the walk ways and cops showing up weekly. Worst property managers I've ever dealt with and I moved here from NYC. They also tried to charge me for rent after I had already moved out, and when I declined the transaction, they charged me a check bouncing fee for their mistake.

This company is beyond repair. My company I am the accountant for has two storage units. One of them was broken into which is not so uncommon. What is uncommon is the lack of communication with Home River Group. For the police report and insurance claim I had been asked to ask Home River Group for the camera footage. I have made multiple requests, all unanswered. Just dirty and zero customer service. My simple request unanswered warranted me to ensure that people that would depend on them for housing will not get caught in their unreliable and shady business model.

Property managers don’t bother answering their phones or getting back to you.Once you leave, they will come up with any excuse to take your security deposit, even if you annotate the existing damages in the move in sheet, and avoid your calls and e-mails when you try resolving the problem.Please do not go through this company.

Is this place even real? A friend recently moved here and is looking to rent for now. If you call this the phone number listed for this business, you're connected with someone India, and they seem to know absolutely nothing about the rental. So far, no showing. With all of the rental scams out there, this seems super sketchy.

We are a military family and came from across the country. We verified multiple times on the way that our property was cleaned before move in as it was the time of covid. Our place was not only disgusting upon move in, but throughout the time living there, WE were charged for work and maintenance requests. we were requested to move out early because the owner was having housing issues. We were told by our property manager britney Larsen, if we do so we would get our deposit back within 30days. It has been 2 months+ and we have been lied to the whole time and have yet to receive it. Now she wants to say “she doesn’t recall”. Be smart and record all your conversations with them like me and take pictures of everything including maintenance. I will be taking this to court as this is fraud.

Terrible company to work with! Unless you are desperate and don't mind having your security deposit stolen, maintenance items not addressed, and lied to about what will be fixed prior to move in, look elsewhere for your Colorado Springs rental.Will nickel and dime you after you move out for items that were listed on the move in inspection. Don't walk, run away from this place.Also, I contacted them to try and resolve this, but they are thieves. Once they've stolen your money, you aren't getting it back.
