This Hobbytown should put a disclaimer up that they are essentially an rc store only and that they don't really care to stock gunpla/model kits and supplies 10 different kits for variety for a hobby store is ROUGH. Hobby Lobby gives a similar selection and gives 40% off every other week. Can't speak for the rc stuff but hugely dissapointing as a model builder.

Came in with my mother to look for an ELRS transmitter for my FPV build, (checked online and the website said they had it, and it was in the store). Asked at the front, and the employee immediately said no, and was very rude and short. I think I’ll just order my parts online, from now on, instead of hobby town. Used to be great, until they removed most of the FPV aspects of the store.

The entire store might as well be RC cars and parts, very little left of the niche that models had at the north store. Now that AMAIN owns Hobbytown the entire store will move and convert to RC. Its the only game in town so we get used to it. Change gonna come.

Me and my dad stopped by because they had trains. That was a joke. Walked in and no hi or how are you. We went to the area of trains and it was just build boxcar's and like Lionel track I wasn't looking for. Kinda bad customer service. Never coming there again unless there "Trains".

Bought caterpillar excavator, defective battery or charger, contacted them, no action taken. On my own, they couldn't inform me about batteries to replace or where to get them. Ebay it is?????

Great spot. Friendly, helpful employees. They seem to have a good selection of RC cars, parts, and tools. I've called in several times for traxxas parts and they are happy to hold them for me as long as it's not in the bargin bin area, which is a big mess to sort through but well stocked and offers 50% off. Can't speak on everything else they offer, but the RC stuff is well stocked.

This place has it all. The RC car selection like Traxxas will Blow your mind. The staff is knowledgeable about products and parts. Just found out they have mini Z cars on Thursdays. What ever your hobby is. These guys have it and are into it too.

Great shop! Went in with my son and dad for supplies I Needed to build an aircraft carrier model. Seems there was more RC car supplies then anything else. Not as much model trains like 20+ years ago. Good model selection. Support these local, hobby shops. I would love to see them thrive.

This was a okay Hobby Town, I am a gunpla builder so I went looking for kits. Unfortunately the kits were very high priced. I really wanted to purchase some great master grades they had but all kits were 10-15$ overpriced for high grades. Master grades were atleast 30$ or more overpriced. My local hobby town has much better pricing so I will keep my business at home.
