Needed a cool-cut to my "mature shagginess", & yet, understanding that there are consequences from "being a walkin", meaning a long wait, I still made my way into the Great Clips Salon...and YET, on this Saturday afternoon, around 3pm, I walked into the 6957 Austin Bluffs Pkwy Great Clips, and low & behold, was consequently (!!!) 1st in line with my stylist Jessica! Sat down with my thankful grin, & gave into the friendliness & executions of a GREAT HAIRCUT from Jess...we bantered about the weather, kids, & the upcoming times off from work for both of us...& BOOM, I was out the door with a slick-feeling-better-looking-better-cut, and as it is, I would have waited in line for a haircut as this! This used to be my go-to location. No more. Went there on Saturday (07/06). There were two stylists with other customers and a third worker (not stylist?) folding hairdresser cloths by the cubicle closest to the door.
Upon entering, the third worker just peeked out, awkwardly looked at me, and didn't say anything, she just went back to folding cloths, no greeting, no checking me in, no acknowledgment, nothing.
The next closest hairdresser was chatting and joking with her customer and didn't acknowledge me either. I just stood there by the counter for 5 minutes waiting to get checked-in without anyone acknowledging me. Once the hairdresser was done and finished checking out her customer, she finally greeted me and checked me in, upon which I told her to not bother. I ended up going elsewhere.

Went today for my 4th cut at this location. My account had a very old telephone number associated with it. The receptionist made a huge deal about it, arguing with me about it and turning the monitor around to show me as though I doubted her. I found her attitude to be confrontational and offensive over such a minor issue. I chose to walk out and will find a new place. A shame as I liked the stylists I'd seen there. A primer on customer service would be helpful for this employee.

Stylist: Stacy at the Norwood location is absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond correcting a horrible.haircut that I received at a different location.

Very disappointing you don’t have an option to talk to an actual person over the phone. Very bad service. I’ve enjoyed your staff but I have a question that isn’t answered on your website and it’s a shame Great Clips is too cheap to pay for someone to answer the phone. I’ll find someone else I suppose.
