These are brokers - NOT movers - and not necessary. Initially I spoke with a woman, ******, and all seemed above board - I still didn't know they weren't movers. We negotiated and did a verbal inventory - also not standard - REAL movers ask for an in person or video call to review what's to be moved.. She asked for a deposit - which is again NOT standard practice - as I've learned. We paid $3000 on our credit card. The Monday before our move VP *********************** calls and says he wants to do a pre-move review - again Verbal - as we go along he says things like, \

Bottom line...I would not recommend this company to anyone and would encourage those considering a long distance move to thoroughly research reviews such as these which describe real life experiences good and bad. We paid nearly $8,000 for a miserable experience.

They did a move for our Non-Profit, Homeward Pikes Peak. We had 2 office buildings and moved into one. They were amazing! They even got it all done in one day!!! They were great about coordinating with us so everything went smoothly. We had a crew on both ends. They've even come back and helped us with moving a few things around while here to pick up boxes. Highly Recommended!!! Thanks Great Plains!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They're an awful, lying, and cheating organization. They will give you an initial quote JUST for the move, then when it comes time to collect payment, they decide to let you know about all their extra fees and costs they have to charge. The person who books the appt will tell you OVER and OVER again that they will call you before they get there. (claiming they don't want you to have to sit and wait). But the actual movers will get their early and not call till they arrive. (forcing your time clock in which they charge you to start). I was told they would be at my place @9am but they'll call before arriving. They proceed to call me early and told me, "the office never told us to call. sorry" so then I had to rush over as my time already started (mind you I still got there before 9am) then once the move was complete, they told me they had to charge me for drive time back to the warehouse. I moved 10 minutes away from the initial pick up. Still they charged me $60 more than what they quoted me. When I called the office Monday, the lady I spoke with was very rude. When she initially quoted me, she said they would quote me the 2 hour move time and that the guys needed the work. Yet after the fact, she informed me, "we usually require a 4hr minimum, so we could've just done that." True, had they informed me FROM THE GET GO, I would've been aware and more conscious of the decision that they were not the right people to work with. She told me the manager would have to call me back later that day. No surprise, he didn't. I called back and left a message. No return calls. Yet they wasted no time charging my card for the incorrect amount. This could have all been avoided had they just been honest and transparent from the start. Instead of being conniving and deceitful just to make the deal. I am BEYOND unhappy with this company and strongly advise you to think twice before using them. They're the type of people who give professional movers a bad stigma.

STAY AWAY....This company is the worst company I have ever used for out of state transport in the 15 times I have moved across country. The packers, drivers and agents do not communicate, call you back, update or update you with any information. The driver showed up late, did not get all of my move on the truck and did not call a back up truck in time to load the items so I had to plead with the buyers realtor to get one more night in the garage to house the load so that the movers other agent could pick it up the next morning. This is after my furniture and boxes sat on my driveway for 8 hours in 18 degree temps. I had to call the company for the next 3 days to find out where they were, what was happening with my stuff and never got an answer. I called the Denver office, the corporate office, my contacts in Colorado Springs, the agent that quoted the job and no one ever followed up with me. The only way I got answers was to continue calling myself. Once they arrived they determined they had not run my credit card so the driver sat outside my new house for 1.5 hours waiting for an authorization for someone in Denver to run the card. They told me she just got back from vacation and would get to it when she could. The second over flow shipment was supposed to arrive one week after the first and I heard nothing from any of the above agents. I had to call 3 times a day to get any answers. 10 days later when the driver finally arrived at my new house, he did not even have a bill of lading or any of the information he needed. Worst company ever and they broke some of my furniture. I reported this to the driver and the office in Colorado Springs and Denver. I have not heard one word from any of the agents involved. The driver never even reported that there were broken items. I have a garage full of empty boxes and I have received no answer on when they will pick those up. I paid full price for this move and full insurance and they gave me NO customer service. AVOID THIS Company like the plague.
