Better than another scrap yard and pleasantly surprised by Mr Francis was extremely patient and helpful when explaining how to further separate our scrap. Ms Kim on the scales super happy and all smiles. All the guys in the yard were happy and helpful too. We weren't treated as dumb being females. They are locally owned also, definitely recommend and will return next time.

Wow. What phenomenal customer service! We pulled in and parked and were warmly greeted. The guys gave us simple kind instructions on where to go, and every person we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Very nice place and we will back.

They'll take all metal recyclables. It's way cheaper than paying someone to haul it away.

Don't get your windshield broken out by one of these trucks. The driver lied and acted like it's not possible to drop stuff out of the back of these trucks. Got a baseball size hole in my windshield and the truck driver that can't see behind him is denying breaking my windshield. Their insurance company is a scam and won't even cover the damage. Talked to Andy ORiley to help resolve this but not like it's his windshield so why should he care! Thanks for the broken windshield that I now have to replace! Train your employees better or put covers on your loads. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could.

Went there for the first time and was not sure how it worked the gentleman that was in the back unloading my truck and I really did appreciate that when I went to go cash out I was told that they do not have to unload my truck and I was informed that Mike in the yard is the one that did it and I really appreciate it cuz he did not have to. Very friendly staff

So unless you pay for recycling, which in Colorado Springs it's a joke, it is almost impossible to find a place to drop off your aluminum cans without walking away wondering why you went through all this effort. I've searched and tried different places and pretty much received the same experience that most people have reported. I decided to try Colorado Industrial Recycling to see if I would get a better experience and I did. Very simple straightforward and in and out real fast. For those wanting to recycle aluminum cans, here's what you do. As soon as you pull in, to the left of you are some parking spots. Park there and grab a blue rollaway container. Empty your bags into that container. Do not leave them in their bags. Aluminum cans only. Do not include foil or soup cans or anything that contained food in it. Soda and beer cans are an acceptable example. Next, roll the container up to the middle where the office/scale is and wait for someone to approach you. Make sure you have your ID available you'll need it to get your money. And that's it. I was in and out in the matter of minutes. Cashier was super friendly. Better experience here then anywhere else. I will definitely recommend and come back.

THEY'LL RIP YOU OFF. DON'T GO HERE.Current steel national average = $170/tonCurrent tin national average = $155/tonBrought 1.5 ton of steel which included rotors (national average $220/ton), computer parts (national average depending on parts $1.50-$10/lb), dryers (national average $0.60/lb). This place lumped everything together, called it tin and paid out WAY BELOW NATIONAL AVERAGE at $30/ton. Completely ripped us off.
