This is a no star rating,this place rents cars out with safety recalls on them. I could have died. Don't rent a car from them if you want to be safe.!!!!

Had issues at pickup with the woman at the counter being slow and inefficient. I was also surprised with an additional $200 deposit at pickup that was not mentioned during the reservation process. Since I needed the vehicle right then, I didn't have a choice but to agree.When I dropped off the vehicle, the same woman took the keys and checked the vehicle. She claimed there was a lot of pet hair. This is the first time I've ever had staff at a rental place pull this kind of shenanigan, and maybe it's because this is a free-standing location instead of at the airport. I explained fur is all over our clothes from pets at home and transferred from our clothes to the seats and floor (and the amount didn't even come close to looking like the dog had been in the van, unlike my own car); she said it would take longer to clean, thus conveying that she was going to charge me extra rather than returning the additional deposit. Dishonest business practice, but I'm guessing employees get bonuses if they can find ways to keep the deposit even though there's no valid reason to do so. When I told her I won't rent from Budget/Avis again, she just said "ok", so they don't even remotely care about customers.

Rude people, gave person before me a free upgrade. When I asked for one (AARP allows), I was told it wasn't available unless I wanted to pay an additional $45-55 per day.

Wow, talk about poor customer service. They closed 50 minutes early on a Thursday. Very poor business. The guy that answered the phone was a complete d*ckhead.

Booked a 26-foot truck over a month ago. Five days before our cross-country move they cancelled our truck. Claimed they couldn’t locate a truck in the state of CO for us. Apparently a reservation only guarantees you the rate, not the truck?? I definitely would not recommend Budget.

Same story as everyone else lately. Reserved a 12 ft truck to get a van instead. The guy at the counter tried to tell me it’s only a few square ft difference when in fact it’s 114 sq ft difference. Which makes a huge difference in hauling. Don’t use this company or place. I won’t ever again

Don't use this store they will let you sit for a week and a half with a reservation for a truck to call you hours before pickup to tell you that they don't have it. No courtesy

If I could give less than a star I would. To start off when we got there we were told our reservation for a 12ft. Truck was changed to a van which gives us less space than expected. We had already been using smaller than we wanted because that was all that was available. Then when getting to the deposit, he didn’t tell us the amount before charging the card but online when I made the reservation it said it would be a $400 deposit since it was estimated at $353. Nope it’s a $550 deposit. When I asked how he just rudely pointed to his paper and said that “this is what it says” no actual explanation or trying to help me understand why I’ve been told 2 pretty different numbers for the deposit. This is the 3rd time we’ve had discrepancies with budget truck and I was obviously frustrated so I told my husband we will not be using budget truck in the future. The man closed out everything on his computer and said “fine go somewhere else” I explained we still wanted to use today but I’m frustrated as we’ve had a problem everytime we’ve used budget truck. He retorted back that he’s never rented me a truck before (duh. I’m talking about the company not you specifically) and took it all very personally and said because I had attitude (I did not give him attitude, I was frustrated that I was kinda being screwed over) and being unprofessional (but not telling someone their reservation changed before they show up is professional?) and that he wasn’t going to rent to us. I walked out and my husband was able to deal with him and get the truck but I would absolutely recommend against this business and especially this location. Awful customer service and just unprofessional.

My wife and kids were in town checking out colleges and were invoked in a accident. They contacted Budget car rental office at the airport were they rented the car and they got a text saying Budget will have a replacement car waiting for them at the airport. Once they got back to the airport they were told that Budget would not rent them a car because they claim the accident was her fault! Not only that, but when they first got to the airport to pick up the original rental car the spot was "Empty"!

Now I see why they have a 2 start rating. So I thought I was at Rent-a-Wreck when I picked up my van. It had dents on all four sides. Then I could not get a receipt for my rental when I dropped it off because they have to disinfect the vehicle and wait 2 hours before they read the odometer and gas gauge. REALLY!?And they cannot email the receipt because they do not have the capability. REALLY!? This is the 21st century. GET ON BOARD!Then I sent my wife down with a copy of the rental agreement to pick up a receipt and they cannot give a receipt to anyone not on the rental agreement. REALLY!?DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME WITH THESE GUYS!BUDGET, YOU NEED A DIFFERENT BUSINESS MODEL IF YOU WANT TO SUCCEED!

Absolutely horrible company. Hired movers for a local move and reserved a truck. Whenever I showed up there was no one in the office. After speaking with a customer service rep I was told that they are in fact closed and there’s nothing they can do and that there are no other trucks available. Would not recommend spend your money somewhere else. Ended up paying movers to just wait around all day for nothing. HORRIBLE!
