Ridiculous income verification (require bank statements but do not accept W2's or pay statements) for a home that is less than $2k/month. Require that tenants view the home in advance, however, after driving 1.5 hours there, their system to open the lock box automatically did not work and they have no way of fixing it in the moment and their only workaround was to have 'a field agent check the lock box this afternoon'. Unfortunately, waiting for that is not an option so beware for those of you who are out-of-state that if their lock box or software is faulty, you WILL have to schedule another showing. To Brickley - Any and all DIGITAL documents, in any form (PDF, PNG, JPG, Excel etc) are able to forged, including and not limited to, bank statements, via a simple Adobe editor so requesting banks statements is unnecessary and may result in consumer identity theft. 1755 Carmel DrAgain - ANY digital document can be altered, that includes bank statements, especially if you are accepting them in PDF or Excel formats. Bank statements are not anymore reliable to verify consistent income as compared to bi-weekly pay statements.I do not have an issue verifying my income, the information above is for someone above your pay grade that understands how technology works, but I do have an issue with driving 1.5 hours to the location and not being able to view the property and having 'viewed the property' be a requirement on the application. Your software should be able to manually give customers a code when it is malfunctioning otherwise you are wasting people's time and money.

I do not recommend renting through this company. There were many issues. The first being that the house we viewed was filthy and had bugs all over the place. One of my roommates called after viewing and was told it would be cleaned before move-in. So we all decided to apply. We put in our applications and were then told it wouldn't be cleaned. We decided to still go ahead, with the understanding that we all would have to clean and bug treat it before moving in ourselves. Misinformation at the least, straight up liars at the worst ? we were still fine moving forward so we put in for it.When we found out that they were moving forward with a different applicant we requested that we be provided with the copy of our credit reports/background checks that we paid them for, or if unable to do that, then to refund our payment. In the state of Colorado you can pay that fee once and take the credit/background report to use for other property applications so you don't have to keep paying the fee over and over again.We asked multiple times and were never provided with the reports and they only refunded our payments when another roommate cited laws and threatened legal action if they didn't either provide our reports or refund the payment. I also received a separate email from the company at one point saying the property was no longer available and to let them know if you want to withdraw your application and be refunded and when I responded yes, was told I couldn't be refunded, so then why was I ever sent that email in the first place?I still don't understand why they wouldn't just use the money we paid them to run the reports and send them to us and be done with it? It does not seem hard to me, my previous landlord even said that when she ran mine it was quick and simple and should not have been this difficult for them to do. So after sitting on posting this review for about a week now, I have decided to post it, because the only conclusion I can come to is that they were trying to not pay to run the reports and just keep the money. I have also since looked back at other reviews of this company and it seems a number of other people(including property owners) were also scammed by them. I am glad that I have a roommate that fought for us to receive what was owed.Make your own conclusions, but for what it's worth, I would recommend staying away from this company.

Required to provide 3 months of full, unredacted bank statements for income verification. Very overly invasive to ask this just to rent a home built in the 1960s with 4x the income required and perfect credit.

Our story with Brickleys Property Solution started back in 2017. Back then as a first-time home-buyer I had zero knowledge about anything and everything regarding managing a home. When we were getting ready to leave (PCS) I was panicking because I didn’t know what to do but one thing I knew back then is that I wanted to keep my house. So this is when the Brickleys company came into the picture.A long story short, Brickleys company has done a phenomenal job managing our property and I would HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING them. One thing that I must acknowledge and embrace them for is that if when there’s misunderstanding between me and the management team (to be honestly it’s usually just between me and myself just because I misunderstood the email or anything in that sorts smh ?♀️) so I would come at them.….And I also must admit that I was/am a pain in the behind client….But but not once, they had treated me/us unprofessionally; the management was/is always so knowledgeable and respectful. Mr. Eric thank you for always put up with my tantrums and esp. for your wonderful service!

My husband and I have been renters for several years, and Brickleys is one of the best property management companies we have worked with. The application process was seamless — from scheduling a viewing of the home we were interested in to signing the lease paperwork. They are also incredibly responsive and return emails/calls quickly. The customer service is top-notch!

Posting a new review because Nick reached out and truly cared about the issues and really seemed to appreciate the feedback. On top of understanding and addressing the issues, he made it right with me. I got off to a rough start with Brickleys but what really matters is that it was made right in the end. Faith restored in this company and I am really glad we found a way to work it all out. Now, I am truly just enjoying the home I am renting. Thank you Nick!

My experience with Brickleys has been amazing so far. I've been working with Naomi, and I am so grateful I was assigned to her! She is one of the most patient, respectful, professional people I have ever worked with. I've asked many questions throughout the application and move-in process, and she has always been so quick to answer and help me. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this establishment. I would recommend them to anyone!

Omg these people are the rudest people ever. I would rather I live on the streets than rent from them! Glad I found this out before giving them any money.Ya Nick whoever man's your phones refuses to transfer the call or anything. Just goes to show how unprofessional and rude they are.

They are scammers. Charged my wife and I both an application fee for a rental property we were interested in and then tell us the next day they already have someone else moving in. Seems pretty shady to me.

My experience with Brickleys has been nothing but great thus far. Everyone I have communicated with has been friendly, pleasant, and helpful. The application process was smooth, and the communication was effortless. I highly recommend this property management company for tenants and landlords alike!

The process to set up a viewing and submit an application was very streamlined, and they are very responsive with questions.Just make sure you have a local branch (to the area) bank account set up so that you can get a cashier's check as they only take certified funds as payment for the deposit and first month's rent.

Eric and the other professionals are extremely competent, quick to respond, and just know how to get things handled. The multiple thorough walkthroughs completed by Eric with detailed pictures, along with excellent communication, helped me make informed decisions about the renovation.I though I could go without a property manager for over 7 years, but the rent increase alone more than pays for their marginal fee. Well worth it in my opinion.After my last tenant moved out I was left with loads of renovation work that simply cannot be completed without a full service property manager from afar. After the renovation they found a high quality tenant.I seriously could not be happier. No wonder why the bigger pockets forums and other real estate professionals alike all point to Brickleys. Keep up the outstanding work!

I have recently worked with Brickleys reg townhouse I’m renting and I must say the experience was pretty smooth. They were quite responsive about all the queries (via phone and email both) and professional. They were able to complete the formalities pretty quickly.
