I love this location and this bank.
This particular location has some really awesome and amazing people including Luke who has gone out of his way to help me multiple times with various bank questions and issues I ran into. It’s because of this location and the people there that I have chosen to stay with bank of Colorado.
Thank you Luke for all your help and understanding and for always going out of your way to help and make things right.
Thank you everyone for the warm and friendliness you all make banking here really easy and a positive experience!

I will start my complaint by first commending the gentleman that at least tried to be of assistance during my time at this location. I do not bank with this institution. Today, I left this bank feeling like a criminal. In an attempt to sign a check over to one of their account holders we were immediately told that it was “high risk” after walking up to the teller. The check i had was not a personal check but a check from my financial institution in my name. Now, if their policy is that they do not accept third party checks then i would have understood that, hell I’d probably wouldn’t even be leaving a review. However, after walking through the door for the first time of this bank i was told “high risk”(they knew i was coming because their account holder apparently had walked in prior to ask if we could even sign a check over) before i even had the chance to hand the check over to be verified. The gentleman that tried to assist us had to come over because the way the teller was explaining it made it seem like there was an issue with me. I felt this way because they never asked to see or verify the check, nor myself, but even based off whatever previous communication they had with their account holder they never gave me a chance as if i had been banned from entering their institution without my knowledge, or at-least explain how this transaction would be considered high risk when you haven’t verified the check or person. What the policies are at this bank, i do not know, but i suggest the term “high risk” be used in the break room. I am an active duty soldier, with a check from USAA. I don’t deserve to hear that I’m considered high risk before showing a teller a check or maybe i would like to just be greeted for just entering your establishment as a potential customer or maybe just say we don’t accept third party checks due to the risk that could be involved. This experience really made me second guess what/who I fight for. Yes, you can handle situations like mine way better in the future, but i can assure you as long as i breathe i will never step foot in this establishment again. 2 stars because at least the gentleman tried to step in to help, but the damage is done. I can’t remember the last time i walked into an establishment and was immediately denied service, i know it’s 2023, but it felt like 1923 for me today.

Bank of Colorado gets to know all their customers on a person level. Everyone is so nice and Bryce went above and beyond for us during Covid. We wouldn’t go anywhere else in town.

The staff at Bank of Colorado is always friendly as well as timely in helping me. They are always prompt and effecient, and I never have to wait in long lines. We have also used BOC for Loan purposes, which has been a very good experience. Bryce Schuettpelz in particular was wonderful to work with.

I had been banking out of state for years and am grateful to have switched to BOC on Tejon! Coming from a small town bank I was hesitant to make the switch but Bryce has been absolutely awesome in providing a small town bank feel with large bank capabilities for both business and personal!
