They sent way too much of the 2X2s and no instructions for some of the little pieces. Otherwise when I called they were very nice.

This is one of the single worst companies I've ever had to deal with in my entire life. I was needing infusions in a timely manner and after 3 and 1/2 weeks they had failed to even submit the information to my insurance correctly. Every time I called anyone at this location they had no idea what was going on. There are corporate offices that take care of some medicine regional offices that take care of others and satellite offices that do other things. No one communicates, no one has any idea what anyone else told customers and it is a complete mess. If you are in a situation where you need help I would highly advise you do not go here.

I would give them a zero if I could. After a major surgery we were told they would overnight the equipment and nutrition we would need. FedEx couldn’t overnight so amerita canceled the order!! (didn’t notify us, just made the decision to cancel) After calling the dr office asking why it had not arrived they finally shipped it. It arrived a WEEK late. The machine that was shipped was not checked prior to shipping- it wasn’t charged, it wasn’t cleared out (caused another delay and confusion getting it started) and the charging port isn’t working correctly. This has been so extremely stressful. This is someone’s food! I will never ever use this company again or recommend to anyone. We also had to pre pay for everything - so frustrating!

I just went in for my third infusion today, and I wanted to write a review about the amazing staff they have here at Amerita. Every member of their staff is absolutely wonderful, but Sierra has been working with me since the first day and I'm not sure how she does it but every experience I have with her she goes above and beyond. This has been a discouraging time for me, but Sierra has such a positive attitude, is always organized, and always makes me feel at ease. I want her to be recognized for her efforts. Thank you so much (as always), Sierra!

This place has put me and my family in financial ruin! I was in the hospital last year before the Covid started and had to get special infusions. When I was at Memorial they said they would get everything set up and the pharmacy will call me with what my insurance will pay. That day I received a call from a very nice girl from admissions who explained that my insurance would not approve my medications and that I can use my Medicare prescription coverage but it would be a pretty high copay something like $1000 each time they filled my medicine. I explained to her my situation and she was very helpful in telling me to use the pharmacies that are contracted with my insurance. I had not been off the phone with her 30 minutes and get a call from this woman Aly saying that the prices I was given are never that high that is an estimate and I may be meeting my max payout. She said she was the Sales Executive and Rn and she sees this all the time. This lady was a talker and had me convinced she knew what she was talking about so I agreed to the treatment. Flash forward 2weeks I get a call from Amerita saying I need to pay $1506.79 for my medication before they will deliver and send a nurse. I am so sick by now I pay the money for I think 7 or 10 days of medication. I pay the money the medicine never showed and either did the nurse. I called the office and was told they would call me back and never did. The next day I called this Aly as I do have her number and she was a totally different person. We said that's not what she told me and that there is nothing she can do now. From her mouth to gods ears! So not being a fool I called Memorial hospital spoke to Risk management and was referred to the OIG FRAUD department. During all of this I still was stuck with Amerita because the out patient clinics were not seeing patients in the office. While filing my complaints with Medicare and the hospital I ended up paying in total $15000. I have since switched to a different company who are able to bill my insurance and I have no out of pocket. My advice to everyone do not listen to these people. The only honest person I spoke to was the very first girl who called. She told me to use my current company that day. I wish I took that advice. The silver lining to this is OIG and Memorial Hospital have started my investigation. Please do your research because these people want your money they do not care about the patients.

I wish they would get paperwork into the insurance in a more timely manner. I am happy to see that they are hiring more nurses in Colorado Springs. Their nurses have been overworked for a while.

I absolutely love Amerita . While I dont have any experience with other entereal supply companies, everyone at Amerita seems to go out of their way to make sure my daughter always has everything she needs every month. Katie, the dietician, is absolutely wonderful and never has any problem answering any questions I have, even if the question is an obvious one. Ursula is always on point, calling me every month for our order, going over everything I need and letting me know when it will arrive. If you need feeding pump supplies, Amerita is the way to go!
