I worked for these folks for a couple of years and a Class A CDL driver. They treated me like family and I was happy there. I should have stayed there. Even though I no longer work there. I still take all of my recyclables there because they are fair and honest people.

Called to have a car scrapped, and their website says they do . The lady on the phone was rude about it and said they dont and says nothing of the sort on their website. Comfirmed their website, and when I read off exactly what it says on there website. Again, she was rude, and she said that it is an old website even though I confirmed their website. Wont ever do business with them.

We went to go sell some copper and brass here cuz we called a few places and this was the 1 with the highest price per pound for copper and brass.(what we wanted to sell) When we arrived we brought our copper and brass to weigh and the people there were nice and helpful, we had to separate the copper and they gave us a estimated price, for each different type of copper. They weighed each one and sent the ticket to the office. We went to the office to get the money the ladies gave us a very different price and you really can't argue or anything regarding the price because as soon as they weigh the copper and stuff they throw it into these dumpsters, so you can't even take back your copper if you wanted to. To put it simply it's like they gave us "what they wanted to" for the copper. What id like in the future is for the people in the office to give the prices to the people downstairs weighing the copper and brass so that YOU as the customer would know exactly how much your getting for your materials and make a choice as to whether to sell your copper here or not, as supposed to finding out the price at the end

Lazy! Never open on the weekends! You have to take a day off of work to take scrap in!

They could have informed people, verbally when they were getting weighed or paid, by a note posted on the main entrance gate, or they could have posted on their website about being closed Saturday May 27 for Memorial Day. It's one of the only couple of scrap yards that take steel, I am not sure how the pay for steel compares to the other scrap yard that buys steel. They do not pay out as high as other scrap yards for metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, and clean wire. They pay about the same as other scrap yards for aluminum cans. The staff seem more geared toward straight forward business rather than geared toward personable service. The scales manager doesn't say hello first or have a good day afterward.

Door 1 closes at 345 and the big scale closes at 415. Runs efficiently if u follow they're rules.

Hours are incorrect on their website and everywhere online. I arrived on a Saturday at 4:30pm after spending multiple hours collecting washers & dryers that I needed to scrap just to arrive and see the gates closed and nobody there. I tried to call & the phone rang and then hung up on me. Thanks for wasting my time!! On saturdays they’re supposed to be open until 11pm and that’s definitely not accurate.

If it's your first time here, there is a process they have. 1st you need to weigh your vehicle in on the scale. Pull on the scale about half way. Roll down your window if possible so you can hear the instructions from the office above. They will tell you to stop, and when your weight is good. You will be able to see this weight on the LED board on the left side of the building wall adjacent to the scale. Take note of the weight for your reference. Once told to proceed over the speaker, proceed off of the scale to and look for the drop area. Typically it's central in the yard. You can look for the big tractor/loader to help you find the area. Also most of the employees will help direct you to the correct area. You will be shown where to back in and unload your scrap/metal. You will most likely be unloading your items yourself. So plan on that. They do offer to help if necessary, or not busy. Once your unloaded, proceed back the same way you entered, to weigh out. Pull back on the scale and stop halfway again. The office will inform you that the weight is logged, and to proceed to the customer parking area on the left. You will need the license plate number from the vehicle, and a valid driver's license to check out. Head to the office located next to the scale where you weighed in/ok it from. Take the stairs to the office, and check in with one of the two employees behind the window. They will ask for your plate number, and driver's license to confirm the correct vehicle, and weight. Once you have finished, use the printed receipt/barcode at the ATM machine directly behind the check out window to obtain your cash payment. The payment is rounded to the nearest dollar, and no change is provided.. That's it easy process once you know. Depending upon what type of metal/scrap your exchanging will be the value your paid. Keep the receipt for your records, and to know how much your rate of pay is. Also if you have been there before, or visited them at the former location, you will most likely be in the computer system so very little information/paperwork is needed every time. You always are required to have your Driver's license, and license plate number everytime. Also you need to be at least 18, or older to conduct any business with them. Happy scrapping!

Horrible service ! The employee started throwing metal over in my direction after the bag ripped. He yelled at me and was not at all professional. Customer service should still be a thing even though you work at a junk yard. I was humiliated and all for $24, they don’t even pay well.
