Lazy and careless pickup staff. I was missing 10 items in my order that weren’t in substitutions or out of stock status and they packaged my lettuce by wrapping it in a ripped paper bag, which is just ridiculous. Too lazy to grab a plastic bag to put it in? The product picture even shows it being in plastic packaging, so now I have to eat this entire head of lettuce in the next few hours or waste the money I spent on it because the staff didn’t properly package it. With grocery prices at an all time high, this is infuriating to say the least.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with this location. They’ve now lost my business entirely because of their consistent carelessness and not being able to do the simple task of providing the products I paid for, yet still charging me for them.

Of all the safeways this one is my favorite and I won't go to any of the others. The employees seem to be happy here and that makes all the difference! It's a very chill grocery shopping experience.

The butcher absolutely refuses to do a custom cut of meat without a preorder, but other Safeway butchers will gladly do it. Don't know what makes this one so special...bad attitude towards me, the customer, and bad experience.

I love how they no registers open but but a group of employee's are standing behind the self check outs eagle eying everyone. Like take them away and go back to regular cashiers if you have an issue with people stealing but damn don't RBF everyone just trying to buy some shampoo and toilet paper.

Just wanted to say Erin, I believe that was her name, was the fastest cashier we have ever seen. I know cashiers don't get the credit they deserve all the time. Just wanted to say thanks for keeping a smile and putting in the effort.

I have shopped this store for about 7 years. The personnel are awesome, some more than others!! I even bring my dog Gordie to visit. The produce and meats are better, fresher, and much better tasting than other chain stores in the area. We have moved to the Widefield area, but I still drive the half hour to get to this Safeway. That says a LOT!! You all have my loyalty and my love!! ❤️

This store has a good selection of products and the aisles are roomy. It's never too crowded and checkout is always quick. My one complaint is that the store was out of an ad item (not the digital coupon items) and when i asked for a rain check, the manager told me "they don't give out rainchecks until the end of the ad on Tuesday evenings". So you penalize the customer because you can't keep ad items in stock? Unless you are willing to shop on Tuesday evenings, you may not get the sales items you had planned on. This smells like false advertising to me.

I was there yesterday and in the self checkout line. I needed help with a food card.
I told the nasty old woman that 3 different Safeway has typed it in. She basically called me a liar and refused to help me. She needs to get another job

I don't know if all Safeway locations are like this one, but if so I suggest shopping elsewhere. This location prioritizes speed over everything to such a detriment that it clearly shows they couldn't give a hoot about the actual human beings who shop there. First they took away the self checkout option for anyone with more than 20 items. I understand wanting a couple of self checkout free for folks with just a few items. But allow some to stay open to folks with larger orders. You have taken away a huge accessibility feature of your store. But I am the type of person who complains on my own time and is polite to service workers. So I never said anything about that. Just forced myself to use the regular checkout and suffered from severe social anxiety every time. The only saving grace being that usually they allow me to bag my own groceries. However, today I was forced to let someone else bag my groceries. A young man would not take no for answer despite me telling him I preferred to bag my own things four separate times. He insisted I needed help. I did not. And so I gave up. He then proceeded to bag as quickly and as carelessly as possible with no regard for the fact that I specifically said I prefer to bag my own groceries because I am very particular about how they are bagged. Because of his bagging "help" two of my bags of chips were punctured, my blueberries were smashed, a salad kit was open and spilled inside my reusable bag, and I was so flustered that I left my extra bags I didn't use at the store and had to go back for them. So frustrating. For no reason! Just let the people who need self checkout use self checkout. Or at the very least respect someone when they say no thank you. I do not think I can continue to use this store. Which is frustrating because it is walking distance from my home. Please do better. Think of your customers who might need more accessible checkout options. And please, stop prioritizing speed over treating people like people. Thank you.

Good quality store, the lettuce is a little iffy, but everything else is great.

Such a nice store, it’s the only store I shop at. The pharmacy sucks! You wait forever and they won’t have what you need. Under staffed and they don’t care. I hope they change things before I have to and shop somewhere else .
