This post office is great. It is so different from City offices. The town's people don't seem to appreciate what a great facility they have here.

Who decides the hours of this place? On average people work from 6am-530pm, this place closes at 430pm and opens at 9am. So, for those of us whom work a steady 9 to 5 job how the heck are we supposed to pick up our mail or packages (we've been waiting for all week might I add) that is shipped to this office if the doors are locked by 426pm every day. And are only open from 11am to 12pm saturdays....? This is more than frustrating and I believe that business hours should be re considered here or hire help whom can cover after hours.

The only trouble my entire family is having, is they don't put our packages into those neat little cubbies when they get them. So that way all we have to do is retrieve the key from our PO box, open the door of said "cupboard" if you will, pick up whatever package that is sitting in there waiting for us, and put the nifty little key back in the PO box, and go about our day. INSTEAD. They give a yellow slip of paper indicating we have a package back there, but we can't get to it until you tra la la into work at 9 in the morning. Then we only have a brief window of four hours IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK DAY that allows us to pickup our packages. Hmm. The problem is..... Most people have jobs they have to be at at those times, yes?? So what aren't we able to do? .... Oh yes, that's right, pick up and leave what we're doing to go skipping down the street to the post office to grab the damn package that should have been put in the little box that was made for that purpose!! What are you doing that us so important that you can't simply use it... Rocket science? Performing brain surgery? Discovering the secret to world peace? I think not. Not doing part of the job is what I'm sensing. Excuse the sarcasm. It runs too deep for it not to be used.

They keep on closing my free Po Box off just because I don't get the paper back in to them. People I live in collbran, I shouldn't have to make a special trip and take off work just to receive my mail. The post office chooses not to deliver it to the in town houses. I literally live two buildings away from the post office. Even the post offices in Grand Junction, deliver mail to houses two buildings away from them.
