I recently took my 2001 GMC pickup to Dave. Automatic transmission was going bad. Dave was able to not only sell me a new rebuilt transmission but also was able to install. Dave's mechanic Heather which by the way is Dave's daughter not only installed the new transmission but also replaced the rear engine main seal as the transmission was out of my pickup at that point it only made since too replace a $ 40.00 seal. Heather in my opinion is the best mechanic in the grand junction co area. I would highly recommend that if you need mechanical work done to your vehicles do not hesitate take it to Dave's.

The part I got from Dave is good but he charged me a 100$ core charge and I brought my old core back but he said it was too late to get my core money back he blames his computer only keeps data on the cores for 10 days It seemed to me like some shady business practices or maybe he needs a better computer system buyer beware!

Great experience great people I've seen them help out alot of people and great prices can't say nothing bad about them because I don't have nothing bad to say great mechanic service and great parts never went there and got a bad part I highly recommend these guys to anyone

Damage to my van caused by huge tow rig left parked extending several feet into the street. When I told them on the phone they owe me a new mirror the woman got nasty with me. Isn’t this what insurance is for? Furthermore, it’s a junkyard. They likely have a half dozen of these but can’t take responsibility and make good on the damage. Absolutely pathetic. Avoid this place.

Don't make deals with this people. They made me drive an hour and when I arrived they weren't there, they told me to wait 40 minutes that they were at lunch

We are taking his "son" (the kid who works there) to court over an even trade deal he's trying to back out of that THEY (the owner) and he pressured us into signing. Sooooooo glad we did now!!! After reading all the negative reviews everything that has happened makes sense. My guess is they took any good parts off our car and put bad ones in it then tried to back out because they got what they wanted after what I've read here. We will be seeing them in court and possibly pressing criminal charges depending on what they do between now and then. If anyone tries to buy the 88 Nissan 300zx, DON'T - It's already been traded and there is a signed contract.
