“Mr. Smitty is an upstanding, honest man. He got me and my family back on the road in record time. We were traveling through with a 40ft fifth wheel when we suddenly had some issues. Called every local place we could and all of them either couldn't help today or they didn't have room for our RV to be detached. Mr. Smitty was really kind and understanding. Even jumped our rv battery so we could detach. Then got right to checking our truck out. We have mechanic experience so we thought it was brakes or a wheel hub. When he looked into it he found a bolt that had somehow lodged itself in the truck making all the noise. He could have easily told us we needed new brakes or a wheel hub and we would have believed it. But he got the real problem solved and checked out the truck for safety and sent us back on the road paying little to nothing. So great to find an honest man/business. If we were local he would definitely be our full time mechanic.Make sure to check him out if you need help.”

“I went in to replace my old battery in my ford edge. When we popped the hood the back bolt of my battery was completely corroded. One of their employees Miah took time to go above and beyond to help me out!!”

“Went in today for some break pads. Had to come back for rotors. Brought my old ones in and they took a look at them. They agreed to help me even though I could tell they thought the rotors should be swapped. Due to their demeanor I decided it was best to just buy new ones.They combed their store front to back looking for them. The system showed them in stock but they couldn’t locate them. They called the other local stores to locate some for me. They specifically asked the other location to physically grab them as to not waste my time.They then did some returns for me and moved things around to get me some discounts. They didn’t have to do any of this. It took time out of their day. I didn’t know any better so they could have just sold me the rotors without any bundling and I’d have not knows.Just goes to show the integrity of the men at this location. Very much appreciate them. “I recently took my 2001 GMC pickup to Dave. Automatic transmission was going bad. Dave was able to not only sell me a new rebuilt transmission but also was able to install. Dave's mechanic Heather which by the way is Dave's daughter not only installed the new transmission but also replaced the rear engine main seal as the transmission was out of my pickup at that point it only made since too replace a $ 40.00 seal. Heather in my opinion is the best mechanic in the grand junction co area. I would highly recommend that if you need mechanical work done to your vehicles do not hesitate take it to Dave's.”
