Lovely weekend getaway! Loved listening to the river and sitting by the fire. Love that they are pet friendly in some cabins! Also, we got a little fox visitor that stopped by our door.

it's 13 to 15 miles outside of Steamboat, but some may Like that! Be careful on the road if it's snowcovered and, in ski season, be prepated to be snowed in!We had such a great time!

The rooms are good and they definitely serve their purpose, but some rooms REALLY need help. Like one outlet in a room, an extremely loose outlet, no fans or central air to move the air around. Not bad, but at or below the bar for the price.

Such a fun and relaxing place! We had 40+ people rent several cabins and it was the perfect spot for a reunion. Glen Eden is in a rustic, gorgeous area about 20 miles outside of Steamboat and the staff was so nice and helpful. Highly recommend for a get-away right on the river and to enjoy beautiful Colorado.

Beautiful location along the river. Our cabin was nice and clean and one of the farthest south so it was nice a quiet except for the sound of the river. We had a wonderful time here and with all the activity near by it was like heaven on earth for me.

We've been coming here for years, quaint experience. Cabins are starting to show their age though.

This was our first time at Glen Eden but we've stayed in the area many times. Toni, the guest services manager, was very helpful, knowledgeable and communicative. We had a unique situation that made us unable to come earlier in the year as we had planned. Toni went above and beyond to help us. After hours check in was a breeze. As it had snowed about 18 inches, we were curious how they handle snow removal. The skidsteer with the giant snowblower attached was the coolest! Due to the snow, there were some WiFi outages and a few very quick power losses which was to be expected. We came for the snow and scenery (not for the resort wide WiFi) and were not disappointed. The hot tub was hot but no jets (hopefully fixed now)- it would fit 6 people comfortably. In the area, we love The Clark Store, Steamboat Lake State Park and now Rocky Mountain Sled Rentals. The rest of the review is specific to the Grizzly cabin. It's a lovely, cozy unit with remodeled bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen. It was very clean and well maintained. There were 2 crock pots, a rice cooker and everything you'd need to cook a great meal. We were happy to find many spices and coffee in this unit. Bring your own foil, flour, oil and resealable bags. The beds were all comfortable with soft, warm blankets. The sheets were a bit scratchy and the bunk bed was really squeaky which are the only reasons I knocked one star off. If you plan on sleeping on the fold out couch, bring a very thick topper, air mattress or rent a 2nd unit. There were plenty of games, books and DVDs. The decor was tasteful with a rustic, cabin theme but not cluttered. We loved that the cabin backed to the river. It's everything we were expecting. We will definitely be back!

We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years to go ice fishing at Steamboat Lake State Park and we love it. The cabins are nothing extravagant, but they have all the necessities and are always nice and clean.

What a fabulous vacation (2 days, 3 nights) in the Chickadee cabin. Great location, beautiful view out the back door and master bedroom window. You'll hear the river sounds if the windows or door is open. Nice back porch with comfy, bright yellow Adirondack chairs, tables, etc. All units have charcoal grills. Chickadee was clean, bright, and uncluttered. Kitchen had all we needed to cook/prepare all our meals while there. Bathrooms were clean and had higher end towels - nice touch! River is lovely and there are steps down to it with a path to their lower glen - you'll see that's where weddings are held. Appreciated having a very comfortable king bed with lots of extra blankets and pillows available. There's lots of hiking trails nearby and three beautiful lakes a short distance north and hot springs in Steamboat Springs. Nearby Clark Store was fun. Was one of the nicest, relaxing vacations we've had - and we travel a lot!

We stayed in the Chickadee cabin and had a fabulous 2 day and three night stay. Cabin was clean, uncluttered, and bright with great view out the back. Nice back porch with comfy Adirondack chairs in bright yellow, good size yard and the river just below. Could here the river when the windows or door was open - something we love. Appreciated having a king bed and it was very comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied with cooking pots, pans, etc - we cooked all our meals there. Bathrooms were clean and had higher end towels than travelers usually get. There's a path to a lower glen which is a nice short walk along the river. Lots of outdoor hiking in the area as well as three lakes close by. This was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations we've had, and we travel a lot! Will be back!

This was such an amazing venue for our wedding! We rented out all of the cabins and enjoyed an amazing weekend surrounded by family and friends. The weather was perfect and the wedding and reception venues were simply stunning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to gather family and friends for an event, but does not want to stay in a hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and we are so happy we chose to get married here.

My dad and I ate in the restaurant this time. Good and service was good. A few years ago we stayed in one of the cabins that was like a home away from home. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and living room. It had everything you needed to cook with, along with plates and silverware.

Great place to unwind and hangout with the family. River access is fantastic. Pool and playground offer lots of fun for young kids.

I wish that all rentals were required by the rental management to have minimum supplies. We had one hair dryer that kept popping the fuse on the day of a wedding. No iron/steamer. No cooking supplies like flour, sugar, salt. Their advertisement said restaurant "right out your door", nope, they did not have one on site. The restaurants close by don't open until noon. No water bottles in the cabins. How difficult would it be to provide hair dryers, bottled water for those of us getting in after the tiny 'gas station' like store closes? The cabin was not clean, see pix below. The office was closed the few times we went to ask for things. In the summer, you need windows open and on Saturday at 9:30 am someone was right under our window weed eating.
