All of the staff was extremely kind and outgoing. We stayed here for three days for a snowmobiling trip and had great food and drink the entire time. The staff knew it was my birthday and all went out of their way to make sure mine was memorable. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The whole family had a great time, the lodge was comfortable and cozy, food good, service amazing! Bring a humidifier, it is dry in the winter!

This is the second time that our family has stayed here and is such an awesome spot for a weekend getaway. The staff is always so accommodating and friendly. The open space downstairs is awesome.Only thing that may make it a little better is a hot tub!Thank you for the great experiences!
AML is a 13 room lodge with full service restaurant opened year round at an elevation of 9500ft in the Southwestern Mountains of Colorado. You can find our dirt road off of HWY 50 EXACTLY halfway between Gunnison and Montrose. Mile Marker 123.4
We are in Hunting Unit 66/65, with access to National Forrest (4 miles) and less than a mile from BLM. We are near Black Canyon National Park, Curecanti National Recreation Area, Blue Mesa Reservoir, Morrow Point Reservoir (Dam Access off of HWY 50), Morrow Point Boat Tour, Lake City, Silverjack Reservoir, Big Blue Campground, Owl Creek Pass, the Alpine Loop, and the Alpine Trail (single track)
