**Community Awareness**
Had us a little shopping trip yesterday, when we approached the check out we were "Barked at" and told that we had too many items in our cart for self checkout, there were 17 and the limit is 20. The person manning (Man) the check out was aggressive and so alarming, almost felt like he was attacking us, he began walking towards us and I told him to back up and that we have less then 20 but we will go to the regular checkout as he so aggressively insisted! This created a very long wait time and while were were waiting in line, that man who was manning self checkout kept looking over at us, it felt like he was trying to intimidate us with his aggressive energy. The sad part is that there is 1 checker that works there, she is the most delightful and kind soul! WE WILL SHOP AT KING SOOPERS MOVING FORWARD! I will spend $75.00 there instead! They treat people with kindness at KING SOOPERS!!!!

How are you, in 2024, going to do a remodeling that only makes the experience worse? All of these new self checkouts that aren't even on. Lines wrapped through the building. And then the new remodel had only made shopping more difficult. Congratulations, you've made coming here even worse.

This store sucks & management is a joke!
Ya'll are frekin ridiculous... Lock everything up (including $2 eye drops) but then no associate even comes to unlock it?! I pressed the button multiple times, waited for 10+ minutes & noboby came to unlock it... Some things are personal, so not only do I not want to ask someone for the item I need in the first place, but I also don't want to stand around & wait for over 10 minutes for someone to come unlockit either... Guess it's a good thing Walgreens is just across the street ✌️

All in all. Good. Unfortunately they seem understaffed rarely more than a single lane open for checkout and the signage saying self checkout is for 20 items or less is not in a place that people in every self checkout line can see and is not enforced in the slightest nor is there any indication to how one should queue into those lines causing confusion and anger amongst patrons who disagree on protocol. In short: workers nice, selection good, management? What management?

Very bad management. The public is underserved with ridiculously long lines and very few available checkout stations. Often the self checkout kiosks are not available so those who are selecting very few items have to wait in long lines behind people who are checking out a lot of items. Managers stand around flapping their face holes and don’t actually do anything. The service here is pathetic. The long checkout lines undermine the convenience of shopping at a store nearby because you could have a better experience by driving a lot further away.

The doors are constantly broken and never working correctly. Pretty sure I saw a mouse running around. Staff was also very rude to a women who asked how much the shrimp was that wasn’t labeled at all. The staff literally just guessed at the price. This is why other grocery stores get most my business.

I went in this afternoon and John the walmart associate was racially profiling me. I proceeded to go to a lane where someone could check me out but as I walk up another associate said he was no longer open. So I proceed to the self check and there was one person ahead of me so I waited. I waited and once it was my turn John proceeds to tell me that I need to put everything up on the little conveyer belt, then scan my items then put them in the bag and that I cannot scan things from my cart. The person before me didn't do this and then I noticed a lady on the other side of me didn't have to do this when mind you she got to another lane right when I did. So I proceeded to say " um okay and why am I the only one your telling this to." (Keep in mind I am young, black and tattooed woman and those before me and around me were white. He then proceeded to say that I'm not the only one he's telling this to yet I did not see him say anything to anyone else. I continued to check out my items and then throughout my whole purchasing process John continued to hover over my shoulder. It's unacceptable to treat paying customers this way regardless of how people look or not.

I order in home and I am never ordering from this Walmart ever again. So many expired groceries. Some are by months!!! Terrible management of inventory.
