Walgreens is a place to refill prescriptions, shop for health and beauty products, print photos, and more. The pharmacy team provides great, excellent, and consistently positive service. Staff members are courteous, kind, and dedicated to helping, often going above and beyond. They greet customers with a smile and kind words, take time to locate items, and help resolve medication issues. The team maintains an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude even when busy or understaffed, hustling to manage a constant stream of prescriptions, vaccine appointments, drop-ins, and calls without taking stress out on customers. However, the phone system presents a significant issue. Calls are answered from afar by people who have no idea about the store's specific situation, leading to miscommunications. Customers have been incorrectly told prescriptions were never sent in when they were actually ready. This contrasts sharply with the in-store experience. The pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 1:30pm and 2pm to 8pm, Saturday from 9am to 1:30pm and 2pm to 6pm, and Sunday from 10am to 1:30pm and 2pm to 6pm.
The pharmacy here is really quite good. I mainly deal with the young gentleman with a beard, and he is knowledgeable, efficient, and really good at his job. I recently had a vaccine appointment that ran about an hour late. In their defense, the 4 pharmacy staff members were hustling with a constant stream of drop ins, calls, prescription fulfillments, vaccine appointments and medication consultations. They were courteous to everyone throughout the evening.
