Classes are always full. No negotiation on personal training sessions. Was sold a package without all the details. Tried to change but was told that I was past a 3-day grace period. The salesperson didn't try to help. He just gave me the accounting number and I couldn't get ahold of anyone. By the time I finally connected with someone, it was too late. Signed up for a $25 membership and now have a monthly bill of $185 locked in until 4/2024

My trainer quit in the middle of our sessions and I was continually charged without a trainer. No one from VASA reached out to help me get connected anywhere else. I spent hours on hold with member services and will still be billed for 2 more sessions.

The facility is nice. The people who work in the facility are personable and helpful. The 3rd party billing service is horrible and seem scammy. My husband and I just joined after the new year (a little over a week ago) and I entered my billing info into the website. Since then I've received 3-4 calls in a row every day from their billing company (Paramount Acceptance) telling me I have a past due amount. When I called back and waited for over 30 minutes to speak to someone the rep asked for my checking account over the phone and when I refused she told me to have a good day and hung up. She did not offer to walk me through their antiquated website to update my billing information. When I went in to update it only allowed me to update certain information but not all so I had to call back and wait to speak to someone a second time where I waited over 30 minutes and had to hang up because no one picked up. I tried the text function and also waited 20 minutes and when someone finally answered the text I wasn't available so they weren't available again when I resent the text. I called back and was in hold for another 30 minutes and decided to choose the option to save my place in line and receive a callback. They called me back 5 hours later and I wasn't near my phone. My husband went online to try to update through his account the following morning and apparently it didn't work because their automated service called me again to keep me on hold again and for the recording to tell me that they are experiencing a high volume of calls. I stayed on hold and also attempted to communicate via text for more than 30 minutes with no human contact from Paramount Acceptance. The previous night via text someone told me that my account had been paid in full but I still got the callback 5 hours later and the following morning. This is exhausting and I have other important matters to attend to during the day. If Vasa contracts with a different billing service with better customer service and a user friendly website while I'm a member I will update my review but customer service and ease of use and access to customer service when it comes to paying for a membership where in a contract Vasa states they have the right to bill you extra charges if they can't obtain payment is important.

Been coming here for 3 years, I brought my fiancé for one day because she is visiting from out of town for the holidays. I've seen people try out the gym for free and I've tried it out for free when I was touring, seems like a hit or miss with the person at the front. A guest day pass is $15, that's more than a monthly membership - let's be honest that's scummy.

Full disclosure I have not been to a VASA gym one time as of writing this review, and that is the main point of the review. I haven’t even been yet and I’ve gotten a text message AND email nearly EVERYDAY from them, trying to upsell me on various products and services they provide. They want me to sign up for a personal trainer, it’s free they say! (It’s free to sign up for the trainer who will test you out on a bunch of different exercises and then tell you it’ll be $$$ a month extra to find out what any of it means.) Or they want me to upgrade to the next level of membership, when I haven’t even used this level of membership yet. They track every in and out at the gym through a QR code on the app, so they have the information that shows I haven’t set foot inside yet, and still today I got another text with a link asking me to write a review. So here ya go, here’s the review you asked for!

Great layout at this location. It was busy and yet I didn’t have to wait for a single machine. All that I saw were clean and in working order. Good job, Vasa!

I enjoy going to this gym. I decided to go down to the $10 a month because I really didn’t use any other amenities. I just resently moved, so I went to a closer one that I normally went to with a friend and had to change my home gym. Was left with a bad taste and thought about going to a different gym when I found out it was $25 to change the home gym. Not cool! It would not be as bad if it was $5 to $10.

Great gym, very nice people staff/members. Please clean the bathroom.Fixed the bathroom--so that's a plus. I'm taking that down. Floors same level of dirty. You're 3 mops a day away from 5 stars. I believe in you Vass--you can do it.

Great equipment, most of the staff is great and I have been a member for almost 5 years! Only thing I would like to see different is the sauna to be cleaned more regularly. I remember when I worked there we would hose it down all the time now it seems it has just been neglected and stinks.

3 complaints. 1) Too many women in the locker room seem to think it’s a photo studio. It’s uncomfortable to change clothes because there are always so many people photographing themselves and others. 2) The locker room is disgustingly dirty. I don’t think the floor has been cleaned for a month. 3) The pool is missing backstroke flags or a marker of sort. It shouldn’t be that hard to paint a line on the ceiling.I only use Vasa for the pool. I realize it’s a budget gym, but I feel like they could do a little better monitoring what’s going on with all the filming in the locker room. It feels skanky.

Facility is a mess, it's always crowded, it always seems generally unclean and gross. The hot-tub and steam room always smell and it does nene seem like they are stopping non premium members from entering the pool Sauna steam room area, This makes sure that the sauna and steam rooms are always full and stinky. They also have a lot of fine print hidden in any contract they make you sign when getting there. When signing up employees are often rude forcing you to sign up online but not just for signing up, employees are always rude and generally unfriendly towards guests. I will be taking my business elsewhere

Good Place for low cost gym, but I strongly recommend not to go with personal trainer here, it’s waste of your money, I’m sure they don’t value your money, Incase of your absence or trainer absence they won’t reschedule it again for other day, for them its simple thing but one session is fine if you feel comfortable, but they continue it for endless days until you cancel your personal training and end of the day you will loose n number of sessions which multiply by $60. There are many apps available in the market that teach you from basics to advanced techniques. Don’t waste your hard earned money here for personal trainings.

Great place to workout, timing at great gyms are always tricky yet once I figured out my schedule at this new gym I am absolutely loving it. They are great with getting equipment repaired quick and making sure even the worn pads are replaced as soon as something starts…. Can’t say that about most gyms for sure. Highly recommend them

Beware!!! I provided proof of a move and was still charged for tons of $ and training sessions I could never use via their weird auto charge system methodology. Avoid this Gym, go anywhere else. They also hide the real yearly cost with a big charge once a year to “secure your monthly price”. Tanning booths were always filthy. Equipment goes weeks if not months down for repair because of simple fixes they blame on supply shortages. The same parts you can find online easily.

Their “FREE MONTH” turned out to be a very expensive commitment. After declaring there are no additional fees for this free trial, they have charged me registration fee, annual fee and cancellation fee. Nobody at the club location OR on the customer service line is willing to take responsibility for this misleading offer. Disappointing.
