I have been going to Dru for my haircut since she was in beauty school. Since I live in Aurora, and the salon is in Littleton, a few years back I tried a closer salon. I will not make that mistake again. Dru is the best. She always cuts my hair the way I ask her to and is so fun to talk to. It's worth the drive.

Me and my hair were at our wits end, and I lucked out being able to schedule a next day appointment with Erin at Salon Aka. I'm so pleased with my first experience in Erin's chair! She's a joy to chat with--but more importantly, she listened to my wants and assessed my hair texture and tendencies, and gave me a style that I'm thrilled with. She seems like a true professional with tons of talent who pays close attention to detail. I'm excited to return for color in the future. The salon is in a conveniently located refurbished home right on Broadway--it is nice and tidy and spacious with ample parking behind the building. Also... she uses Aveda products... yum!

This as been a game changer for my son. The owner of this franchise is the most amazing woman!!! We went in last year for an evaluation. He was way behind!!! Her commitment to my son has been so heartfelt!!! Is is now at grade level!!! I love her!!! Even during the stay at home order she and her staff were so committed!!!! Thanks team!!!!!

Erin is AMAZING at what she does. I am a brunette and have gone to Erin with many different challenges. She has always risen to the occasion. Most recent I let her know I would like multi colored hair and she knocked it out of the park!

2/5 because the stylist that worked with my wife (Jessica) was super nice. My wife tried an organic boxed product and didn’t like the result. My wife went in for a consult, and Jessica was politely helping my wife. Now, if we never interacted with Jessica... 0/5 stars would be the review. The cigarette smelling, chain smoking manager absolutely humiliated my wife in a full salon. I’ve seen her before because I work on the top story of the building the salon is in. My wife just had a baby, is feeling really bad about herself, and just wanted to have someone work on her hair. The grotesque manager grabbed my wife’s hair and said so loudly “oh we are not touching this, what did you use?” My wife couldn’t get two words out without being interrupted. This manager said “those things have metallic blah blah in them” (which the one we bought didn’t have any metallic ingredients- not like this managers mind could be changed). It’s one thing to tell a customer that her hair is beyond saving, but to literally grab my wife by the hair and say “we aren’t going to be liable for this” in a full salon so loudly is another thing. I’m sure this is a great salon, but I don’t know what pool game this manager lost at the trash tavern the night before to put her in such a bad mood to humiliate a new mother...
