I needed to replace one of the lid lifters on my Thule cargo box. I ordered the part online and it looked like it would just pop into place, but it was such a pain and I couldn't get the hinge to snap into place. I took the box and the part into Rackstarz and the super friendly staff pulled out all the tricks to get that hinge on. Thanks so much for the help!

The guys at Rackstarz are great! Awesome product selection and they can order products they don't carry from local suppliers. They were able to install a full rack, wired LED light package and full suite of OHV gear for my new Bronco. Will definitely return to Rackstarz for more toys!

Rackstartz was the best choice for me because they provided a great product at a fair price installed. I needed a trailer wiring harness added to my CRV. As I waited for the install I looked at great camping and storage products that were well made, versatile and priced well. I would return for products and service if I needed the variety of merchandise they carried to actually view before I purchase.

I bought some fairly difficult to locate and somewhat dated Yakima parts here. The service was fast and everything arrived in good shape. I'm glad to know that where are still vendors that can help you locate items that are out of production.

I am reluctant to rate Rackstarz more than 4-star and maybe it should be a 3-star. Nothing went smoothly. When I made the reservation I made sure to give the exact model of my car especially the "L". I paid for the hitch and installation but when I got there I was told because I had not told them about the "L" they ordered the wrong part and it would be an extra $109. My first thought was "scam" but then I decided they were just sloppy. Later they would tell me that they relooked at the emails and there was no mention of the "L". Funny, I looked at the emails and the "L" was definitely there three times.Then things get more questionable. I have a kick sensor that opens/closes the rear hatch. I pressed them on would the kick sensor still work. They looked in the hitch installation specs and since it didn't say anything about the kick sensor, they said it would work. I pressed them to talk to the hitch manufacturer and they refused saying the manufacturer would just repeat the spec (and they were right because I wrote the manufacturer). Needless to say the kick sensor did not work.I took the car to the Lexus dealer and asked if the kick sensor should still work. The mechanic said NO hitch will keep kick sensor working on any of Lexus' SUV's. When installing the Lexus hitch the procedure is to remove the kick sensor because it will not work. Only on one different model SUV will the kick sensor work but it has to be moved (there is room to move the sensor ONLY on that different model).I think if a company is going to say they are experts at installing hitches they should know that none of a popular car manufacturer's SUV's kick sensors will work with any hitch.

Just came back from our inaugural camping trip with our new RoofNest tent. Couldn't have been easier...even one person can put it up and down in just a few minutes. Got a lot of attention from neighbor campers ... especially on how roomy it is! Very comfortable and secure even in moderate winds and rain. Loved all the little extras like zippered window mesh so I could easily pass shoes, dirty clothes and other items outside. Hopefully the night skies will be clear next camping trip so I can enjoy the stars with the zippered top open! Can't wait!

Installed a Stealth Hitch onto our SUV. Following the delivery of the system to Rackstarz, we were given an appointment to drop our car off. Rackstarz installed the hitch and returned our vehicle in under 3 hours.Great customer service and efficient work!

Needed to get a new key for my 25 year old Yakima ski racks. I had tried going to REI, but it took them 45 minutes to finally tell me they couldn't help, so then I came here, and within 5 minutes I was able to figure out which key I needed and purchase it. So refreshing to have great and friendly customer service. Will definitely be coming back here whenever I need anything else rack or hitch related.
