Unfortunately, I will not be going back. After signing and paying, I informed Ken that we would be filing for a payment plan for the Federal. I gave my banking info for my Colorado refund I was to receive.
After getting a disturbing notification while out of town weeks later, that a large amount of money had been taken out of my checking account. I realized that this H & R Block office took my banking info and processed a payment to the IRS for over $4k, without agreement or prior notice! Needless to say, I was negative in my account for weeks after. At first I tried to be civil, talked to Ken, and tried to be understanding that accidents happen. But the more I struggle to regain my finances and will not regain for some time- due to this enormous and unplanned debit that I cannot reverse- I get more and more upset. I typically do not write unfavorable reviews, but I want to warn everyone to be sure to get in writing about processing, OR NOT processing deductions from your bank. This was avoidable with a simple email, text or call to inform me that the debit was going to occur, but I got NO PRIOR notification of the transaction, or I would have declined it. As I type, I am getting angrier again, so I will conclude with this...Be safe out there.

If a half star was an option, I'd have chosen it. Kenneth - the person that we set our appointment with is clearly disorganized and unable to keep track of his clients. He double booked us with another couple for the exact time slot we had booked. The folks at the branch proceeded to shrug thier shoulders and attempt to make that our problem rather than solving it then and there. If you decide that H&R Block is your go to do yourself a favor and avoid this location.

I was under the gun and my former tax preparer had left me hanging. I gathered my copies and just went in at last moment for help. Was greeted warmly, and they took care of me in no time. Great staff that made it easy. Will for sure be back next year!

I don't understand why I cannot claim the interest on my rental property or get tax credit for a 9 thousand dollar furnace I had installed on the property. I really don't think H & R block looks out for the customer. Next year I will find another provider, I learned my lesson. The senior tax advisor must have influenced the outcome. This office is close to my home, What about satisfaction guaranteed? I feel I lost several thousand dollars by using your service.
