Absolutely terrible shop they had my car for over three months after telling me an engine swap would take less then a moth they lied the whole way saying they were working or inspecting the engine that I was told was already at the shop multiple times come to find out they had never ordered an engine after rejecting the ones I suggested my self they were never working on it they have had my car for almost 4 months and just now decided to tell me that they can’t find an engine anywhere and don’t actually know what to do with the car terrible customer service scummy lieng service advisors and just an all around absolutely incompetent business don’t take your car anywhere near here if it is for something more complicated than an oil change cause they will bullshit you for 3 months just to tell you they can’t actually do it

Don’t waste your time with this shop!! I had to wait two full weeks for me to get an appointment which by the way they don’t honor them.
Once I was able to bring my vehicle they had it for another full week just so they can tell me they couldn’t fix it.
The Manager Fabian Medina doesn’t even know what he’s doing, he never followed through on my vehicle and every time I called he would put me on hold, once he answered he would say “let me check and I will call you back” he never call me back once!!
Every time I asked to speak to the owner he would say he’s not here today” which I think he was lying and makes me wonder if the owner is aware of the lack of communication and professionalism to follow through that this manager is missing.
On top of all this they left my car dirty and filthy with grease on the step rail and on the carpet by the gas pedal. I seriously don’t recommend this shop

Great mechanic. I always used to go to dealers for service as I want the best service, but after a few VW dealer service issues, I decided to try German Imports and was not disappointed. I plan to go here for now on for all my VW Touareg service needs. Capable and very friendly.

I recently took my Mercedes Benz to this shop for an oil change for the first time . The gentleman behind the desk who I believe is the owner was very nice and friendly. When I mentioned that I was planning to walk home which is about 2.5 miles away, he generously offered me a free Uber ride back home. I gladly accepted his offer. This was a very nice gesture and made my experience at the shop even better. Highly recommend!

I do not recommend taking your car here for repairs, I had my water pump replaced in December of 2023 on my Audi and I paid $1,500 for that service, then around the month of June my oil pressure light keeps turning on to tell me to turn the ignition off since the oil pressure is low I take it back to German imports and they do a pressure test saying the car is good but then the light comes back on so I decided to take it to Audi for a diagnostic at that point they advised me that the water pump is no good and that it’s going to cost me another 1,700. I asked if they would be willing to refund me for the water pump itself and not the labor and they were not willing to refund me. Yes they told me the water pump is in their warranty but I work a full time job and I don’t have time or money to keep buying an Uber to go back a fourth to work and home. Not to mention they were going to have me wait till next Tuesday to bring in the car which means I would have had to drive it and potentially cause more damage to the car. It would of been nice if they made these things a priority.

Hello! I took my Volk 2011 GTI here for the first time. At this location I met Fabian the new manager whose service truly blew me away with how attentive but also candid he was about my cars needs and getting the parts that it needed for its maintenance. The technician Derrick who was respectful, and kind, but most of all carries an honest love for German engineering. He did a fantastic job. I love how my car sounds and feels, just like new. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, and I will continue to come here for all of my car Service needs.

Knowledge is power! Do your homework, read reviews, and don’t make impulsive decisions over the phone regarding any work that needs to be done on your car. Get a second opinion before approving the work. Say “no” to anything that’s free. It’s usually not “free”. Do comparative costs on labor.
You are never too old to learn and it will save you lots of money.
Yes, with knowledge you will be less likely to question “what the ___ happened” and “why did I let it happen”. This company taught me an extremely important lesson at age 75.
If I hadn’t declined the brake caliper work at approximately $760.31 with tax my bill would have been approx $2485.00. The company said my vehicle was unsafe for final test drive due to failed brake caliper on right side.
The next day I had another highly recommended mechanic with over 40 years experience check my brakes. He personally called the shop to report my car brake calipers and brakes were just fine and offered to send a video to the shop to prove and validate his findings that my car calipers and brakes were not in need of repair.

I absolutely love the quality of work and overal compasion and professionalism from everyone at German Import Car Care. I was taken care of exceptionally and was given peace of mind while my car was being worked on. I unfortunately bought an Audi and after a year I had a coolant leak, oil leak, water pump issues and needed gasket replacements. They kept me in the loop the entire time, had a loner car for me to use so I wasnt stranded and with everything I needed the price was reasonable. I highly recommend using their services.
