DO NOT BANK HERE!!! I will be refinancing my motorcycle and leaving CFCU! First off you can't make a payment on the app with a debit card or credit card. The app is also very clunky and outdated. Then when you try to make a payment on the phone there is a $20 dollar convince fee!!! What!! It must be their convince to rob you. I've heard of 2 or 3 dollars not 20!!!

This place is awful. I was extremely clear that i live out of state from the beginning but am FROM Colorado and wanted to use columbine because I knew someone who worked there. I went through the whole entire loan application (including the hard inquiries) only to find out at the end that they can’t do out of state loans. They ran my credit as well as my moms for nothing. The service I received after this was horrible and they took zero accountability for their mistake. Not even an apology. I would steer clear of this place if at all possible. I understand they are low staffed and probably busy, but that doesn’t excuse making extremely obvious mistakes with no remorse.

I have been a member of my fare share of banking institutions. As far as Columbine Federal Credit Union goes, they are hands down one of the best banks to work with. Checking accounts, savings accounts, working with them to get a loan, anything thing a bank is intended for, they are the ones your should turn to. Thanks for being there for me Columbine.

They’re bad, but not the worst. Their app doesn’t work. If you’re ahead of your payments, they’ll just stop sending you statements (can be a good thing). They will never answer their phone, if you have a question about the app, they wont pick up the phone. If you need to make a payment on the loan, they wont pick up. You can leave messages and they wont respond. The only good thing I can say about this credit Union is that their shared branch payment is pretty good. It’s convenient to make payments through other credit unions, with the exception, you can’t pay off your loan. You have to contact columbine to make the last payment

To start the staff is great and over all I have good experiences! The one down side is they will not accept loose change at all unless it is a few coins. They have no coin counter and will not accept change rolled! Its not to hard to weigh coins to count them like other banks I have worked with know how to do with scales that are designed to do.

If you love fees and big ones this is the bank for you. I guess there is no longer any benefit to being a member of a local Credit Union.

Recently, I visited the Dry Creek branch to open an account. I was directed to Cynthia (I think she is a branch manager). She provided me with excellent customer service. Also, she suggested opening another type of account that would fit my needs better. I really like when professionals give me an advice/suggestion in the field of their knowledge instead of doing what I told them to do. I am not an expert, and I appreciate the service Cynthia provided to me.

Terrible customer service. I would not ever recommend getting a loan through this bank; they never listen to you, they don't update things when you call them in, and email them in and they put you on hold for a long period of time just to transfer you and put you on hold again its a long annoying and Aggravating process.
