Exactly the same story as in the previous review. I have sent a bunch of coins for grading in July 2023. It is January 2024, no coins back, only a few month's of promises that I will receive them next week. I guess bankruptcy is close.Stay away!!!

I want to tell you my side of this story. My coins were sent to ANACS the month of December, 2022.A few months passed. I called ANACS and a man assured me that the coins were being graded by someone reputable. After several more months passed, I became extremely concerned. I called ANACS and talked to a woman. She told me that the coins were still at ANACS and were never sent to anyone to be graded. I was not pleased and wanted my coins returned. She assured me that she would mail them by UPS.A woman (I have kept all names) said she would email me the tracking number. She never did.I later talked to a differrent woman. At first she couldn't find reference to my coins. She became a bit terse and said that I should talk to a manager who was handling my coins. She transferred me and I got the manager's answering message. I left a message for him to call me. He never called back.I called the same wiman again and she said she would mail my coins that afternoon. Again I was asked for my mailing address. She called me back my coins were supposed to arrive on October 19th. My coins never arrived. When I checked UPS for a status, my coins had been returned to ANACS. No explanation. On October 25th I called ANACS. The receptionist said there was no reference to my coins. After some searching she told me that they were at a different address and I should pick them up there. I told her they were to be returned to me. She then said I needed to talk to a manager. A woman I had spoken with picked up the phone. She said my coins were there, not at the address the receptionist told me. The woman said she would send them out and I would receive them by November 2nd.November 2nd, no coins arrived.I called ANACS and their answreing machine was not working properly and I could not leave a message.November 3rd, I emailed "customer service" to see of anyone could assist me. A man answered my email and later that day, provided a tracking number. According to UPS, the tracking number had only been issued that day - meaning that, again, I had been lied to - a third time!I emailed the man who finally returned my coins nearly a year later thinking I woud receive an apology of sorts, but after a week and a half, no response. So, your company gets 1 star. Would have given a minus 1, but it was not available.

It took 18 weeks to grade and authenticate 13 coins. Then, they mailed (ups) without my street number. I had to file a claim with ups to get them to agree to resend, and admit their "mistake". They did a lousy job authenticating and their "master grader" could not give an explanation for there ineptness. They only stated the basics, like asking about algebra or calculus equations and being told how addition and subtraction are calculated. They cannot do the math. I believe the fact that they did not include a street number on my mailing address shows how poor their service is, or that they did it intentionally hoping that i might not file a claim? Why?? ...I won't say. You can figure it out. Again, they put no street number on my address. How? This is auto-generated. My address is correct in their system but not on the ups address. They admitted their "mistake"...but how does this happen? Has Amazon ever failed to deliver a package because they didn't generate the street number provided in their system??

Totally disappointed with this grading company. This company advertised that they will “Preserve” the coin. Unfortunately, I believed them. The ONE coin that I thought they will handle properly to preserve, they ruined! Online Id see lots of people have they’re coins re-graded or “Crossover” to other grading companies bcoz they DO NOT TRUST ANACS system of grading. Unfortunately NOT ALL of us can afford to grade and re-grade our coins so now I’m STUCK with this POORLY and UNFAIRLY graded COINS… HOPING to at least break even after having these coins graded at ANACS. Altho ANACS is cheapest grading company but you will save yourself grief and aggravation most of all money if you go directly to those top of the line grading companies.

I found a high quality coin that I needed graded by anacs looked at the pictures I sent them and said the coin is a fraud that it is a damaged coin not a mint mist strike it is a mint and strike point I know it for a fact I've already had it appraised by other coin dealers and they refuse to deal with it because of their arrogance and their rudeness they think they know it all. I must apologize the company was correct about the coin. However I can only date them 2/5 stars because 1. They should have done a better job explaining why they made the decision. 2. Their rudeness and arrogance is way out there.

Stoll from me once. Then when I'm actually gonna give them another chance but I'm only wiser this time and they found that they couldn't rip me off they said they don't want my business. There's a reason why these people only got 3.6 Stars you will be a fool to use the grading service.... and think I'm just leaving it at a bad review.. I own my own business and I'm also contacting the BBB..

I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! I sent a rare coins to them for grading and after a considerable amount of time they finally send me back different coins!!! Then when confronting them with photo proof of their mistake, they try to convince me that I am wrong or delusional. There is no customer service at all that will help you if a problem arises. This company will blame the customer or blame their shipping and not have any accountability. So that leaves the customer with "the crap end of the stick". COLLECTORS BEWARE!

Inconsistent grading, many hidden fees, crappy customer policies, and they take forever to grade. I began using ANACS several years ago to grade a bunch of Morgan and Peace dollars. What I got back made very little sense and showed zero consistency. I decided not to use them again and wish I'd stuck by that. I've since had several of their ridiculously graded coins regraded by PCGS and they received much better grades. At a recent coin show, ANACS had a submission table and I thought maybe they've gotten better, so I took two high grade medieval coins in for grading - that was two months ago....I called to get an update and they're still 'waiting for consultation' with no 'consult' date in sight. I asked them to return my coins and refund the money I had paid them - for which they've done nothing. They said "no refunds", but they'll send my coins back and give me credit to submit more coins which they'll probably will sit on for months again.....this just stinks. They keep your coins essentially hostage while they dilly dally and do nothing. This will absolutely be my last use of ANACS - they're inconsistent, unreliable and downright pretty sleazy....never again. I feel pretty stupid trusting these clowns again. I should've known better.

If you want a coin graded for the hell of it go with these people. If you want to sell, nobody accepts their grading, not even JM Bullion
