I got the best customer service since I can remember...I called to get a quote and Mark was very courteous and helpful in walking through the products they had available that'll be a fit for my project.It wasn't until I asked for their hours of operations that I discovered I called almost 10 mins after hours!

The only place to buy pressure treated lumber. Its kiln-dried which is far less likely to twist. They have a huge selection of fasteners and other building materials. Plus they can deliver and the price is reasonable.

I'm sure this is a great business if you are in the industry and know what you are doing. However, if you are not, BEWARE. I had a couple damaged doors in my house and I reached out to the builder, got the manufacturer name and then looked up where I could purchase replacements. This location was closest to me. I went in to get information and pricing and I was provided an order number so that I could call back when I was ready to purchase and reference the number. Knowing that I was not confident in my measuring, ability, etc. I went home, took pictures of the doors, remeasured, and took the information back in-person to order. I was very clear about not knowing what I was doing but I was walked through the options based on my pictures and measurements and ordered two doors. The doors came in a few weeks later and I arranged a truck from a friend and a extra set of hands for pick up. The first door was found right away but the second door took 45+ minutes to find. And while the style of the door was correct the invoice # didn't match by invoice but I was assured by them that it was the right door. Upon getting home, I realized the second door was not the right size, to tall and too wide. I called back and the person on the phone immediately remembered me from earlier and said they would take care of it, walked through the measurements again, and ordered a replacement door. A few weeks later, I stopped by to check the status and was told a replacement order did not exist and that if I wanted to get the correct size I would have to place a new order and the door I had was a custom order and non-refundable. The other door I ordered I had issues with as well. Some of it was on my end and my naivete, but given how direct I was with them about my knowledge at the time of order, it could have been prevented by them providing good information and customer service at time of order or at pickup. They didn't tell me that installing the door with a professional installer would be extremely difficult until I had tried myself and ran into issues. I would have hoped that they would have worked with me to correct the order. However, as Nathan said in his May 2020 review, 'their customer service is entitled, defensive, rude and placing ALL of the blame on their customer.' I have $500 worth of doors that I can't use and will have to start over

About 6 years ago we purchased an outdoor door for our new shed. We made sure the employees were aware this door was to be a shed door and needed to be the right kind to withstand the elements. However, within the first year it started to show water damage at the bottom of the door. It wasn't too bad at first, so we did not immediately think of returning it, but it has continued to get worse. We will have to remove it and get a different door. The door was painted carefully with multiple coats of outdoor paint and there was no other reason for the damage (ie. it is not sitting in water!!) except that they sold us an indoor door.

Really unpleasent Experience with this location. I’m not a contractor just a diy home owner ordering baseboards and crown molding. I worked with Alex to order wood and the level of incompetence is unbelievable!!!! Anything that could go wrong with the order, did go wrong. I called Rob the co-owner, to share my experience as a customer, he just cut me off and said he will refund me the money. I have giving your company an opportunity to fix what is wrong and improve your business, instead you ignored me. It leads me to believe that a small business or a homeowner are not really valued customers at this company.

I will NEVER order anything from this company again!!! When I called to purchase molding they informed that Trimco did not have the items in stock. They lied, because I called Trimco myself and confirmed that items were in stock. Delivery was delayed. Molding delivered was damaged. And tax applied to the bill for my city was incorrect.

This is the best place to purchase excellent quality lumber! We could not have done the project (pic. attached) without it! If you want straight, dry wood (unlike competitors who amazingly sell "green" warped wood), don't bother going any place else. We used their Penofin stain on this deck and it provided excellent coverage. Also, the customer service at Adams Lumber is very good and the staff is quite knowledgeable about all of their products. You can get in and out with what you need quickly. Lastly, they will load the lumber on your truck or trailer.

I deliverer a Lumber to contractors, so I visit many Lumber companies and by far Adams is one of the best. Very professional and customer friendly plus quick to get your product.
