$117.00 WORTH of groceries, and an entire hour of my life gone & nothing to show for it. All because of a couple of clerks w terrible customer service & not willing to "lose" their jobs for a policy at this specific Safeway. I have NEVER been treated so poorly or like a criminal. It was discriminatory & uncalled for. Plus-$117.00 of groceries that have to be restocked or thrown away now. All because of policy that isn't written before I started to shop or shown when I went to pay. Tara G. is a terrible head clerk & certainly does NOT have the skills to bs a manager or even a supervisor. Jess, the "Seafood Manager" also does not. If they cannot handle simple customer needs, when there is no other way for a customer to pay & they instead would prefer to have to restock or throw away food, that is just horrible. I have to use a mobile app to get my rewards, clip deals, etc. Yet I am not able to use a mobile gift card in select stores.But it does say they are able to handle electronic payments at this store on the website. I am beyond FURIOUS!
