Been using this walgreens pharmacy for years but over the past year or so it has gotten so bad. The customer service is terrible, the staff gives an attitude and makes you feel like your inconveniencing them. Also they are so SLOW to refill prescriptions. I requested one be filled last Friday (on the app-because it said it was time to refill) and yesterday I received a notification on the app that action was needed and to call the pharmacy. I called 6+ times and waited 30 mins plus on hold and never got through to anyone. Then at 11am I decided to go by there and see if I could get it sorted out. I get there and the tech (who seemed bothered with everyone) re-entered the prescription and said it would be ready later in the afternoon I said perfect thank you. In the app it said it would be done by 2pm. Well I kept checking the status on it in the app and its now the next day and its still not done. Really considering switching pharmacies

Unfortunately I know better than to visit the pharmacy. I had purchased a product that was supposed to be dispensed via a small pump. It did not work so I exchanged it for the same product. It was very easy to do.Instead of driving home, I decided to break my way through the plastic even though I did not have a blowtorch with me. Once I was able to retrieve the product, I could not get it to dispense. This time, I decided to exchange it for another product. Unfortunately, technology did not like that - it would not allow a return on a return and it would not allow the original receipt since it had been used.I had to wait for about 5 minutes for the supervisor, but he was more than happy to help me out.

This pharmacy released a controlled substance RX to my parents after I called and requested the RX not be filled due to their Alzheimer's. The next day my parents called me and asked what the drug was they received from Walgreens was for and why do they have it! I called Walgreens and asked how this happened and the pharmacy has NO RECORD of the RX being filled yet I have the RX bottle with the controlled substance in hand! I think this is a DEA reportable lapse and Walgreen Pharmacy and pharmacists are incompetent. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing.

Kayleigh and Kevin are such kind and thorough pharmacy techs! I'm glad to have them managing my prescriptions. I don't even live in Castle Pines but come to this location just because they have always treated me so well. Kevin saved me $100 on a prescription because he put it on a discount card !!!

I have had multiple negative experiences at this Walgreens, however, I will give my two most recent.I ordered a photo order online that was advertised as same day. When I received an email saying it was ready for pickup, I went to this store. I asked the manager, who explained that there was no way they were going to have any of these orders done same day, let alone in the next few days. He was not apologetic, just frustrated and rude.I just left the pharmacy after trying to pick up a prescription for my husband. This prescription was supposed to be ready yesterday, and after trying to call multiple times my husband just decided to wait. He finally got a call this afternoon and asked me to go pick it up. I drove over about 20 minutes later, spent some time browsing and shopping, then went to pick up his prescription. While waiting in line to pick it up, I heard the pharmacist speaking on the phone. She said, "We are more than 2 days behind on filling prescriptions, so if this isn't life or death....". When it was my turn, about 45 minutes after my husband received a call from them saying his prescription was ready, I was told that they needed another 20 minutes at least and it wasn't ready. The service, professionalism, and competency at this specific Walgreens is unacceptable. I am sorry to the people who rely on them for anything, but especially for prescriptions.

Giving two stars because the employees here are awesome, otherwise it gets one. The store is always out of stock on the things they do carry and don’t carry lots of the things other Walgreens carry. I’m consistently been told I have to drive to Castlerock for items that should be in stock everywhere. Their hours keep changing to a shorter and shorter day he will drive all the way down there to have a paper stuck to the front door with scotch, tape, saying they shortened their hours yet again.

Walgreens pharmacy license should suspended or completely cancelled. I had a very important prescription sent to the Walgreens in Castle Pines, Co and went to pick it up the next day in order to allow plenty of time to fill the prescription, only to find the pharmacy closed and obviously no prescription. Walgreens never contacted me to notify me of the pharmacy closure, and after traveling the 15 miles to the Walgreens, I was unable to obtain my prescription and unable to send the prescription across the street to King Soopers because there was no pharmacist available?! Walgreens hijacked my prescription, did not notify me of their issue, did not provide me any alternatives, refused to send my prescription elsewhere hence not allowing me to obtain my medication and has never contacted me regarding this matter. I will never give another penny to Walgreens, their utter disregard for peoples safety and wellbeing is unconscionable, and they extremely poor business ethics could very well have caused someone irreparable harm.

Bad pharmacy. Sometimes open. Closed a lot. The guy with the red beard is weird and acts like he’s alway put off by having to get you your prescription. There is a King Soopers right across the street. I’m changing my prescriptions to their pharmacy.

There is something fundamentally wrong with the pharmacy at this location. I don't know if it's just managed poorly or if they have resource constraints that other Walgreens pharmacy's don't have, or if the issues can be solved through training on customer service and product delivery. Filling a prescription anywhere else takes 10-15 minutes. Here it takes a couple of days. You have to guess when the pharmacy will be open. Times are not listed anywhere and are subject to change on a whim.If you have medication that is important or timely, please for your own health, go somewhere else.

Worst place ever I'm on blood thinners after having a pulmonary embolism just a month ago. Tried to refill my prescription which was sent a week ago from my doctor and they just ignored it then when I called they said it would be ready in a few days and I even got a email saying it was ready and to pick up. I went there 2 different times and they said it's not ready and to come back the next day. Went the next day and still don't have it so it's been now a few days with out this medication and hopefully I don't end up back in the ICU or worse . This is a serious thing and can be life threatening and it's like they don't care and even got scolded by the pharmacist when I told her tech this could kill me being with out this medication

Worst pharmacy techs I've ever encountered!!! I went to pick up a prescription after feeling like crap all week. My Dr. said that it should be ready an hour and a half prior to when I went through the drive-thru. I know they have been perpetually slow in filling prescriptions, so thought I should be alright. When I got to the window to pick up, I was told that it wasn't ready. As a matter of fact, they hadn't even started filling it. This was after I waited in the drive thru line for 20 MINUTES!!! When I let the tech know that my Dr. had said that I could pick it up an hour and a half prior, I was rudely told," Well your doctor doesn't work here and shouldn't tell you when it's going to be ready"! The tech was very b$&@hy in the manner that she said it also. I didn't get her name, but she had glasses and shoulder length curly brown hair. Can't believe how people display a lack of customer service like that and still have a job!

The pharmacy used to be great, but something happened and it is now the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to in my life. It took 6 days for them to fill a simple prescription. This isn't anything new either. Anytime any member of my family needs a prescription filled this is the turn around time we experience. My favorite is how we go through the drive through after four days and are told it won't be ready for another 3-4 hours. We come back 6-7 hours later and it's still not ready. When asked when it will be ready they say another hour and give attitude like you're burdening them. The best part is it seems to take on average 10 minutes a car in the drive through. I think I'll start to look for a new pharmacy given how slow they are.

Called and spoke with Terry regarding a prescription Ive been waiting 2 weeks for. She started the call stating that I was speaking too loud (keep in mind my tone was very perky and happy but she was not having it). She said the distributor is out of stock and i need to call other pharmacies besides walgreens to find it (this would have been good info to have 2 weeks ago). I asked her if she had the capability to see if it was in stock in any other nearby walgreens and received more attitude and was placed on hold for another 10 minutes. She was finally able to find it in stock at a nearby walgreens pharmacy. I wonder how long I would have had to wait if I didn't take the initiative to help them do their job.

I have always used this location for prescriptions but I’m going to change to King Soopers. The pharmacy seems overwhelmed and understaffed. My prescription took more than half the day to get filled.

Got my last few COVID vaccinations from this location. The process always goes smoothly, and the person giving the vaccination is always super-friendly and a joy to work with! Also, Walgreens seems to be pretty quick about getting the information to Colorado Dept of Public Health, so you can download your latest info within a day or two. Highly recommended!
