Called ahead about prescription to see if it was ready. They told me it was, I got down there stood in line @ at 1:29 they closed. There attitude was very unprofessional.

If you can choose to shop anywhere else, I suggest you do so. I checked out through a lane and an older gentleman was the cashier. I assumed that I would have no issues with attitude and I was completely wrong. This gentleman had an issue with me bagging my groceries, then proceeded in constantly running the conveyor so that my groceries would ram into my hands as I was picking them up to bag them. He continued by making rude comments as he shoved my groceries into a heap. He was in such a rush and told me to give him my number to enter for my rewards as he was tired of waiting on me. As I went to pay, he refused to state my total, which was $300, and looked the other direction. Once my receipt printed, he then said "Wow. You have an astonishing 16 points. Good for you." Once home, I found that several items had been rung up wrong. This person should never deal with people. I will never return to this store and will advertise this type of service.

This is one of the most expensive grocery stores in Castle Rock yet IT IS THE WORST grocery store I've ever been to. (And I'm a full time Instacart shopper.) -It's filthy & reeks of bathroom deodorizer the second you walk in. -The bathroom always stinks horribly. -The entrance doors are always broken. -They don't have any shopping baskets, claiming they've all been stolen yet don't get new ones. -There aren't any baggers, yet there's always 4-5 employee teenagers hanging out at self checkout talking to each other. -The shopping carts are all extremely noisy, don't push straight, & generally are very hard to push. -Oftentimes there aren't any shopping carts in the store or else they're only at one entrance. -The layout of the store is always changing & doesn't make any sense. -Some of the cashiers are unbelievably rude. -Front manager is not helpful & acts like you're annoying her when trying to locate items. . I avoid this store at all costs even though I live within a mile of it & doing instacart runs is ALWAYS a major pain in the ass. It's been this way for years & I don't understand how they can charge twice as much as other grocery stores for their inventory when the shopping experience is ALWAYS terrible. -

This was a great pit stop before our road trip. Quiet, clean, great selection of health ready to eat snacks and drinks. The staff were extremely helpful and kind.

Came into around 2 30 i had some items i didnt want so i thought I'd give it to the cashier working self checkout because I've worked retail and i know there's usually a thing for go backs and on the day before Thanksgiving i didnt wanna leave stuff at the register. The gentleman working self checkout seemed really bothered to do his job when i was giving him the items. He gave attitude which i honestly dont feel was warranted towards myself for i told him politely i didnt want these items. And i understand its stressful the day before Thanksgiving but still don't think I deserve this for I've been coming here for years.

What a beautiful Safeway! This place is so well taken care of, it is well-stocked, and the bathrooms are very clean. The pickup employees are on top of it, they greet you cheerfully, and are professional and efficient with loading the groceries into your car with a smile on their face! Very very impressive!

Boston cream doughnuts were stale.The glazed ones seemed to be as well.I specifically asked if they were fresh and was told yes. Lesson learned... spend the extra $$ to enjoy fresh food.

I drive the extra 7 miles to shop here as I follow their adds. Unfortunately, typically they are out of 50% of the advertised items. Lots of improvements can be made but the one you need to note as a potential shopper is ALWAYS review your receipt. Today they made two big errors and I was overcharged over $26. That's a lot of money for me. I had to go back to the store twice to get it resolved. They tried to tell me that I had to buy two of the items to get that deal. I did and it showed correctly on the receipt. The second time I went back was for another error and once again they tried to tell me I needed to buy 4 items to get that offer. I had them look at the receipt and they had to acknowledge I did indeed buy the required items. Then they were going to reluctantly give me a refund but they tried to short me again as they didn't note all the extra taxes I paid because they were beverages...$5.26. This is NOT a one time occurrence. This happens regularly so just take the time to be aware of it.

I aways have a great shopping experience here. Every employee treats me very good. They are always helpful and friendly. This is my favorite grocery store. I want to give a special thanks to Fletcher who always goes above and beyond at the checkout!!

Awful experience—-bought two packs of ground meat and both were rotten. Open nature fresh ground pork and some kind of organic beef, in small packets, were so stinky I had to just throw them away.

As a visitor to Castle Rock, I have no other experience at this Castle Rock Safeway. This was myFirst and last visit to this store. I chose to wait in a staffed checkout line, the checker did not say hello, he was extremely disinterested in his work, he smashed my bread as he threw canned items onto it, he was faster than I could bag my groceries and stood there doing nothing to help. I will not be back here even though I am near here for a month.

MEVER USE THE PICK UP SERVICE. The charged me for over three pounds of crab legs. They come in separate bags.they only gave me one bag so I called them back and Gave me two more bags but under a pound. I didn't notice tilli got home. So they ripped me off.

No baby changing station in the unisex bathroom? I changed my babies' dirty diapers standing up. Whatever but not really customer accommodation.Why do corporations make the absolute worst resting facilities to use mid-shopping trip? They are remodeled every 245 decades.I love Safeway's fresh cut produce.
