This place went downhill pretty quickly after changing ownership at the end of 2022. The prices went through the roof, teacher turnover seemed to increase, and state inspections found a huge list of violations that we never heard of happening under previous ownership.The previous owners used to be at the school all the time, but the new owner rarely makes an appearance (probably because she lives out of state, at least that's what we were told when she first bought the business), and wasn't all that friendly the one time we met her.We decided to move our son to a new daycare a few months ago, and we've heard that many other families are now making the same decision.Update: roughly 12 hours after I posted this review I received a call from somebody claiming to be with the school. They said my review was suspicious since we left the school five months ago, and that they were in a legal dispute with a former employee. They then essentially threatened to sue me if I didn't take the review down and said they could "make it very expensive" for me. I won't be removing the review and welcome a lawsuit since none of what I've said is untrue.I encourage any parent considering enrolling their child in this school to look up their state inspection report at the Colorado shines website (Google it).

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Primrose School of Castle Rock for making the Colorado UPK process a breeze! We currently have our 4 YO son enrolled and this is our first experience with Pre-K, etc. and to say it is overwhelming would be an understatement. However, Primrose CR made the process so incredibly easy. From sending us links to the applications, to keeping us in the loop with a variety of communication and reminders, the process was so easy! I have many friends with littles the same age and their process was not as smooth as ours was at the hands of Primrose CR. Additionally, my UPK acceptance email got filtered to my junk and if it wasn't for Primrose's reminder, we may have missed it! So, THANK YOU, Primrose CR staff for all your help with this tedious process.On top of this amazing service, our Little always comes home so happy from school! We just welcomed another kiddo and the staff at Primrose help us navigate being a big brother on top of all they do. I do not have enough room to say all of the wonderful things I would like to about your staff; so, one more heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone at Primrose Castle Rock!

We cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible experience our daughter has had at this school. Facing sensory challenges, we've seen her truly blossom in an environment that feels tailor-made for her growth and happiness. The consistency in routine, coupled with the dedication and warmth of the teachers, has provided a stable, nurturing environment that she thrives in.The curriculum is thoughtful and engaging, clearly designed with the diverse needs of students in mind. It's been amazing to witness not just academic improvement, but significant strides in her confidence and social skills.A special shoutout to the director, Lucia, and Maren for their exceptional organization and leadership. It's evident they pour their hearts into the school, ensuring every detail is taken care of, creating a seamless and supportive educational experience for the children and their families.We feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of this school community and are deeply thankful for the positive impact it has had on our daughter. It's a rare gem that has exceeded our expectations in every way.

We have been so happy with the Primrose curriculum and already see that our daughter will be prepared for kindergarten in the fall. She comes home excited to share what she has learned so we know that the teachers provide engaging and fun learning experiences for the kids. We are also very impressed with the teacher communication sharing their lessons and activities allowing us to talk about them again at home. She has learned about different cultures & celebrations, fun science experiments, sight words, as well as important values such as kindness and thinking of others. Primrose of Castle Rock has provided such a well rounded foundation for her early school years.

We moved with my wife some months ago. For us finding a school for our daughter was always our main concern.Lucia and the Primrose staff have always been there for us. My daughter loves the school and her teachers.From the big playground to the healthy food, we truly believe we found the best place for my daughter not just to learn, but also to make new friends.Extra: They are always scheduling tons of fun activities (Cookie Friday"!!)

Upon learning we were moving to Castle Rock this past summer, the Daycare search was overwhelming and stressful. Since we chose to attend Primrose School of Castle Rock, all moving stress related to daycare has been eliminated!We have been extremely satisfied with our choice. Our kiddos are safe, healthy and happy. They love coming to school every day and look forward to seeing the amazing teachers and participating in the robust curriculum. We have had extremely supportive, kind and caring teachers and leadership. Anyone we have interacted with has been warm, friendly and will go above and beyond to make your experience wonderful.The Enrichment activities (soccer, dance, etc.) and additional programs (Winter Wonderland, Trunk-or-Treat, etc) have been an outstanding addition. Our kiddos are still talking about their visit with Santa last weekend! The staff goes above and beyond on weekends and evenings to facilitate these additional programs and it is greatly appreciated. Every Friday, our pre-k kiddo gets to participate in soccer training with an outside coach that comes in. He looks forward to this every week.Overall, we could not be happier with the leadership, teachers and programming offered by Primrose School of Castle Rock. We are so thankful we came across this center and are so appreciative to not have to worry about our kids safety and care during school days!

Primrose of Castle Rock has been nothing but warm and welcoming to our family after moving to Colorado back in the summer. The school provides a very well-rounded curriculum for all ages, and I love getting to see what my children are learning about on a daily basis through the school’s app. It’s also nice to receive photos/updates throughout the day. The staff is very nice, and we’re always greeted with smiling faces every time we walk through the door. The facility is very clean and follows standard health/safety protocols.

My family was pleasantly surprised when we transferred from another Primrose franchise in Colorado to the Castle Rock location. My son has been a part of this school for over a year now and loves it. They are considerate and consistently making changes that better the school. Lucia in administration is both empathetic and professional. Maren, her assistant takes pride in her work and is always helping out her team. Kimberly at the front desk is always so welcoming to families and goes out of her way to make the kids happy. We’ve found that Mrs K and Mrs J to be the best teachers that my son has had in his young educational career. They offer a level of education and kindness as well as structure that my son really responds to. Ms P loves all the children and it really shows. I wish that they offered a kindergarten program so that we may continue. As it is we will be sad when we transfer to another program. The school itself is always clean and doesn’t smell like a dirty diaper. This may not be important to some, but it is to me. They offer soccer lessons for the children as well as other fun seasonal programs and socials throughout the year. The staff are engaged and enjoy these events as well as the parents. They involve the parents and are kind in offering transparency of care. To me it’s worth every penny. If you are looking for a program this one gets 5 stars from me.

I can only describe Primrose Castle Rock as AMAZING!! I have never felt more comfortable leaving my son with awesome teachers and an amazing staff. Everyone is go nice right when you walk thru the door!! Best decision I have ever made was enrolling my son at Primrose :)

The staff is friendly and attentive to our child’s needs. The facility is clean and constantly offers family involvement, for various activities and holiday celebrations. Our daughter enjoys preschool here, very much. I have preferred Primrose, over the two other daycare/preschool’s, that my family has utilized over the years.

Wow! Our little guy just started at Primrose yesterday, and I have to say I've never felt better about dropping one of my babies off for childcare. On day one, the teachers and staff were so kind and welcoming. They were unprecedently warm and did everything to make my little guy (and me as the mama!) feel welcomed and reassured. I am a mother of three and this is not our first experience with preschool but it was hands down our best experience! I also picked him up a little early yesterday so we can slowly transition to longer days and the staff didn't make one comment about me coming early. They just seemed happy to have him! The school is clean, well appointed and most importantly, evidently run with care and love. I just love seeing all the updates of my little guy in great hands throughout the day. Really can't say enough and see why people say, "Once you go Primrose, you never go back." Great job to Director Lucia and teacher Archina...keep up the amazing service of taking care of Castle Rock's littlest residences :).

We are grateful for our teachers in the Early Preschool 1 class at Primrose Castle Rock! Ms. Archana and Ms. Manisha are a perfect duo and truly understand toddlers’ needs. They make their classroom educational, fun, loving and safe.

We have had a great experience at Primrose Castle Rock since day one. The teachers have been amazing to our 2 children in each classroom they have been in. The teachers are experienced, friendly and happy which has created the best environment for our kids. The administrative team provides a warm welcome every day and are very responsive to our inquiries. I love that the staff greet my kids every day when they walk in the door and make them feel so welcome and create great excitement for the day. I am so grateful we chose Primrose!

We have been incredibly happy with our experience at Primrose School of Castle Rock! The policies and procedures in place provide our family with tremendous comfort regarding the care our kids receive. We appreciate the constant clear communication about health and safety protocols. It's evident that they prioritize the well-being of every child.The impact that the teachers have made on our kids academic, social, and emotional development is truly remarkable. The teachers show genuine kindness and take the time to get to know each of our kids. Even the administrators know the kids well, which creates a warm and nurturing environment. We are particularly grateful for their patience and understanding when our kids lose their mind at drop off. Their grace and non-judgmental attitude mean the world to us! When our son first began going he cried at drop off for a MONTH (bear in mind that it was his first daycare/being away from mom or dad of any kind). Now he complains when we pick him up too early!The balance between collaborative and independent play is evident, fostering both social skills and independent thinking. We also appreciate the creativity given to summer activities, which keep our kids engaged and excited about learning. We are also very thankful for the school's commitment to regularly evaluating our child's development and ensuring they are placed in the right classroom.We also love the Procare app, which keeps us connected and informed. The regular communication we receive, including the photo updates, is such a special touch! It's reassuring to see glimpses of both of our kids day and know they are in a safe and engaging environment.Our experience at Primrose School of Castle Rock has been outstanding. The commitment to health and safety, the caring teachers, the exceptional facilities, and the enriching curriculum has taken a huge stress off of us as parents. We have been very pleased with Primrose School of Castle Rock. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Our daughter loves it and smiles every time I drop her off. Love the app that shows what my daughter has done during the day and receiving daily pictures. It is probably the most expensive daycare in the area that is the one drawback. But also sometimes you get what you pay for.
