Larry at Petco can not anymore rude. place an online order to take advantage of their 15 % off promo. As I was in the area, I stopped by to see if the order was processed or I can already pick up the order. Mr. Customer friendly Larry told me no and next time don't come to the store until you get a notification. Then to put an icing to this order....their online inventory was wrong They don't have it in stock. This is my 3rd bad experience at this store, finally decided to write a review.

About a month ago we took our dog here for grooming. After they shampooed him they used a eye wash. When we went to pick him up his eyes were super red. So we took him back in so the groomer can take a look at his eyes. She then washed it out again with the same eye wash. That is when we smelled rubbing alcohol. So we look at what is in it is had Alevera gel rubbing alcohol to make sure he will not go blind or anything like that and peppermint oil. We take him to the ER pet at 4pm and the vet said is sounds like they used ear wash. However wile we are waiting for him to get seen we call the manager (not going to say his name) was very very rude to us and was not helpful. The bill was about $300 and it took them weeks for them to pay for the bill that they caused. I would never recommend you take you dog here unless you want them to hurt them and make you go the the ER vet. I wish I could leave less than 1 stare.

0 stars. Apparently employees at this store are too busy closing the store an hour before closing time to help customers. Liam specifically told me that he was unable to help me with a question about fish because he was too busy feeding the ferrets and the reptiles. Customer service is apparently not part of his job description.

The store manager was absolutely unknowledgeable, rude, unhelpful and condescending. I brought my 4 year old daughter in to pick out a new salt water fish. The store lead "Michael" had 0 knowledge and 0 care. I asked a price on a fish and he said he wasn't sure didn't want to have to look it up and that we should just come back tomorrow. I told him I wasn't coming back tomorrow since we were already here and she just wants to pick one out and he just gave a no care attitude. Not that petco has a dress code but "Michael" looked and smelled like he just walked in from the back ally. It was tough to keep a conversation w him since his awful halitosis made me just want to end the conversation and speak to anyone else. Overall an awful experience and we will not be coming back anytime soon which is a disappointment since this is the only local store that sells salt water fish in castle rock.

This review is for Linda the dog trainer at Petco. Linda is so kind and helpful in training my pup. I love that she starts class asking about any difficulties she can help address specific to your dog and has great tips and over 20 years of training experience. Group class size is small ~3 in our class. Then we practice various things taking turns. Also my dog LOVES her - he gets so excited when we pull-up to Petco.

Ok so I was just there and I don't write reviews but what I overheard today was rather upsetting. I was in the kitty litter section and nearby the store employees were talking and one was making some comments about wether an employee was trans or not based on what they looked like. I kind of looked over and it was an older women that was asking and just overall over stepping some boundaries with her comments and remarks on both the employee she was talking too and about. She was an older women with grey hair not sure about name but she was making the remarks to another women younger with black long hair. But good on the employee with the black hair for saying it shouldn't matter if someone is in the LGBTQ+ community.

If I could leave 0 stars I would, staff was very rude and unhelpful. I came in with my 10 year old yorkie who is receiving cancer treatment.As I was checking out the cashier charged me for 3 bags of food when I obviously only had one in my cart. After I tried to ask the cashier why I was charged for 3 bags the cashier proceeds to tell me that I need to feed my dog more because she looks malnourished. Never coming to this Petco ever again.

Took my 14 year old Brittany in for a grooming. We've been going there for about 2 years. I was told that since my dog is on medication they won't be seeing him. No reason other than the manager decided they aren't seeing animals on meds. He's on arthritis meds and has Cushing's disease. The medication he takes keeps the tumor under control. Its not contagious and doesn't impact his behavior at all. I guess since I'm on meds my money isn't good enough either. Terrible policy, terribly customer service.

Called to talk to a manager to let him know of my continued issues with this location. Yes if there was another store I could get my dog food without driving an hour out of my way I would. Apparently employees are allowed to wear sweatpants while they are rude to customers. Had to again yell for someone to come help me with my online order as always you walk in there's no one available. Managers response was "sweet". He apparently doesn't care either. What happened to making a customer feel welcomed and taken care of these days. Just lazy SOB's collecting a paycheck.
