Rude folks working here. You’d think they would want to facilitate more giving, but seems like they just don’t want to work.

Helpful staff. Learned some interesting information from talking to attendants.

As stated in earlier reviews the man that runs this shop is extremely condescending and treats donors as if they are trying to create a huge burden on him. I love ARC but will look elsewhere (even if I have to drive much further) to make donations. I take care to donate items that will make a charity money. I don’t donate trash and don’t appreciate the nasty attitude. ARC needs to get rid of this guy.

It’s big store with lots of collection but expensive. Store owner or manager need to work on it.

I was very disappointed with the young man employed there. He was rude, on the phone, expected that I was supposed to know his new procedures though no signage was on the windows. He would not give anyone a receipt. I need one for our taxes. I was told to go on-line and get one, but that wasn't the truth. There is no way to get one on-line. I have emailed the corporate offices of this problem. I will donate at Goodwill in Castle Rock from now on!

ArcThriftStores and donation stations are just awful. I used tobelieve their store was worth it but after working for them and seeing how they treat people who work their tail off to make sure they had the best looking store and end up fired due to the fact that because my partner and I did so well and no other store in any county was able to make it look as good as ours, their solution was to fire us because they couldn't have such a good looking and helpful store when all the others looked and did so poorly. I have proof and documentation of this as well if anyone would like it or doesn't believe me. Anyways after both my fellow employee and I were accused of doing something we both knew we didn't do and protested it (I even asked to see the video footage they claimed to have on me and was told that wouldn't be an issue but still never saw it) we were both given days off work that they called a suspension. 5 days later I received a call to meet. One of the "superiors" asked to meet at a different ARC building and said he would explain everything then. Well I knew instantly I was going to be fired but I figured I'd grab my check. So I met up with him and after he handed me my last check I asked him calmly why I was being let go and he told me that in the state of Colorado that you do not need a reason in order to let someone go which actually shocked me seeing as I am from Chicago. Then they further decided that they would keep on my other employee and tell him that it was my fault I was fired and he was not allowed to respond to me through text or phone and it was only after he decided to leave because of the same reasons that I found out they told him he was not allowed to speak with me and he actually ended up putting in a good word for me at Goodwill. So I would suggest if you're going to go anywhere that GOODWILL is the place you go. It just really bummed me out especially since I have built such a rapport with the people that had come in to my workplace. I had actually just the night before I was suspended I helped save a very nice lady from being beaten up by skinheads and being yelled at in racial slurs by calling the cops and also making sure that these "gentlemen" were not allowed to park in any of our spaces but unfortunately work ethic is not a very valued thing at arc.

I hate going to donate things here. The man here always makes me feel like a burden when I come by. He sighs when I drive up, is so rude! I always tell him I don't need his help, I can unload my car myself, but he insists that he now has to spend hours cataloging every piece that I have brought in and that I have now pretty much just ruined his entire day. I honestly dread having to donate things, and this been over about 5 years! I am glad that there are now other donation centers offered in Ccastle Rock, I think I will be using those instead.

The man who helped me carry my boxes of stuff out of my car was so helpful and friendly. The store looked organized and clean.

Good place to shop on a low budget but they do overprice on clothes that are donated to them for free, 15 dollars for a pair of donated pants really
