Nice guy helped me out with replacing my Saucony trail shoes. I asked to replace what I had been wearing for the past 500+ miles but he was pretty insistent that my 10.5 shoe was too big and I had to go with a 10. Bummed I listened. I’d lose toenails for the first time in a decade if I kept running in these. If people know what they want please don’t be pushy about their getting something different. I’d write this directly to the store but I didn’t see an email address on the website.

We took our 6 1/2 year old granddaughter in to get some tennis shoes. The employee couldn't have been nicer. He fitted her and she found the perfect pair of shoes. While I was waiting, I asked to see if they had my size (I am hard to fit). They did and I got a pair of shoes as well!!! Kudos to Independence Run and Hike!!!

Great shop! Helpful staff. Wide range of trail/hike apparel and footwear. I've purchased 4 pair of trail runners from ASICS, La Sportiva and North Face over the past 3 years. Additionally, they have sport hydration and gels from Tailwind, GU, Probar etc that I'll grab when it's time for an adventure. Keep it up!

I placed a specialOrder with them and never heard back after a month- went in personally to check and they said they would call me - after two months I never heard from them and placed order on Amazon and received in 3 daysNeed to improve customer service

Stopped to grab some everyday shoes while road tripping. Service was very helpful and very knowledgeable. Measured my foot and gave me a breakdown of his best shoe options. Great place to find shoes
