Not a good camp if you have high functioning autism. There will not be any kids like you, and you will be babied through every task. You will not have any free time and will not have fun in the activities you do. You are constantly babied and treated like you don’t know how to put food on a plate, take a shower, and other basic tasks. It seems like a great camp for severe autism, but it inaccurately brands itself as a camp for all forms of autism when it is obviously marketed to more severe forms.

I worked for Ascendigo a few years ago. Their team is incredibly passionate and willing to go the extra mile for campers. Would definitely recommend this program!

I truly can not express how amazing this organization is. The staff are SO patient, kind, positive, and loving. My son is 12 years old, non verbal and not toilet trained. They could handle all of this and his behaviors as well. I can't say enough about Ascendigo. We will be back!!!!!

Can't say enough about how much we love Ascendigo. They are incredibly caring and energetic, and do a phenomenal job with keeping parents comfortable (and kids have a blast). We'll go again and again.

Hallelujah for Ascendigo! The only reason we come to Aspen is so we can team up with the most kindest, compassionate, encouraging group we have ever met on our autism journey. This year, our super sweet instructor made sure our son had a lot of fun and enjoyed the fabulous ski experience in perfect powdered conditions. My husband reported that our beautiful boy is now skiing blue runs! I was sick and stuck in the hotel but I got to watch from my balcony when they would ski by. Here's a rundown on what we did: -We registered online for private lessons (that included discounted lift tickets for the entire family!) -Then, met our wonderful instructor at a designated spot and he took care of the rest (equipment rental, put on his skis, took him to lunch, etc) -My family would ski nearby them at times so my son never felt out of touch with the family, we took pictures and ate lunch together, got encouraging updates on his progress and texted throughout the day. My teen is now skiing with so much confidence and pride. We look forward to our yearly ski trip and trying out some summer programs. The instructors are truly God's angels! Thank you Ascendigo! We love you!
