Please shop at your own risk. The owner will stalk, threaten and harass his customers that he doesn't like. He personally called a friend just to yell at them. I'm guessing everyone can guess that it's the irate man, Matthew, in one of the reviews above. There are many other businesses in the Canon City area with friendly staff and owners that could use your business.

This place is wonderful.. Please disregard the booster loving parasite that provided a bad review because they're panties were in a bunch over unscientific gobbledygook. Hopefully they get another booster and die from sudden adult death syndrome... I'm serious.Seriously though, folks, this is the mountains. Stay in the city if you want to live in fear. Out here, we live free. Stay away if you are fearful of imaginary Boogeymen. We don't need you and we don't care about your feelings.This place is incredible and us locals love it

Wanted to check this place out - figured out would have more variety and better prices than Royal Gorge. Went @ 1pm on a weekday in October but out was closed with no hours posted. I get we're barely in the off season but I thought they opened at noon during this time. They didn't even have hours posted so we knew when they would be open

Very neat place with lots of good variety. I only wanted a tshirt but grabbed a few small items as well. The attendant was nice and helpful.

It's a shame that this small business, or at least their sole saleswoman, would be so disrespectful to their customers. This employee refused to wear a mask during the pandemic when asked by a customer and even lied that it's not required (during a state mask mandate). Not only is this illegal, dishonest and rude, but it's just poor business. As a fellow small business owner, I can't believe they would willfully alienate and endanger their customers. I would have liked to support this local business but will highly discourage others from going there.

Trying to pawn my iPhone 7s one lady quoted us 150.00 we decided to pass until today, the kid that was in there was absolutely terrible! He had a terrible attitude and scoffed at us like he was some big bad man that looked down on us! Absolutely will not be stepping another foot into this establishment! Very poor customer service! If you hate your job so much, quit bud!

I purchased a Wi-Fi router on November 3 2018 from mountain man. I know all pawn shops have their own return policies so not knowing what the policy was I asked the girl that was helping me that if it didn't work could I being it back and get my money back and she looked over at the guy behind the counter and he nodded and said yes if you bring it back with in 30 days.so then I felt assured to buy it. This place is very unique if you like wood furniture or iron art or even Blue Bell ice cream or a hamburger this place is amazing I bought my husband gifts from there for Christmas it's relatively inexpensive depending on what you pick they can go anywhere from a trinket 2 + major piece of furniture I've always had a really pleasant experience every time I visited even the kids could find something that they would absolutely want to have I don't have to tell you about the adults because if you can't find something there's something wrong with you

This couple have a cool story and business. Almost everything is made by hand, and is mountain man period correct (correct for the period of 1800's) He is an excellent tomahawk marksman, and will teach anyone who drops by to throw a tomahawk with style.

Everytime i go here they are rude and get less and less professional. I took a car stereo amplifier directly out of my car from being wired. when i brought it in he went to test it and fried my amp right in front of me and then told me it didn't work and that he didn't do anything. i about lost it. Then i went in this morning with a brand new 7th gen iPod classic 160 GB and the guy just looked at it and said 50 bucks. without looking it up or getting a price for that model. I about lost it again. I told him they sell brand new for $360 easy. He said $50. WoW!!!!! This place is a money hungry rip off fest. i do not recommend to anyone.
