Someone is definitely delusional if they think this is a thrift store lol you can't call it a thrift store if you charge retail prices for used items get a grip

New Horizons staff are so friendly and you can find amazing deals on great items!! I love how they give back to others and truly care about the people who come into the store. Plus we get to be a part of the ministries they support! Thanks for being such a friendly and happy place to visit!!

Thankfully you can find some good stuff for pretty cheap. I wish they wouldn't ask for MORE donations when you pay all for the cause of the church. They get free stuff resell then ask for more. Typical church mentality

This is a great thrift store! It's always clean, well organized, and not cluttered. More is not always better when it comes to organization, and this store proves that. The other thrift stores should use this one as their example for how it could be done better.I do think some things are way overpriced, especially considering it's all donated. In some cases, I feel as though I could get a new item somewhere else for the same price they're asking for a used one. Greed is ugly. Also, instead of putting the sticky price tag on the side or the front of an item, they could stick them on the bottom where it doesn't matter.

They stopped Military discount, only on a Tuesday:( "Military Monday"easier to remember. We've donated dozen or more times here. They also stopped having delicious yogurt+ fruit bars. Prices are higher :( for" Donated items" sadly Not as reasonable as they used to be on many items. We drive far!

What a great place! So clean and well organized. The staff are all so nice and helpful. Tons of items! They recently revamped their book section and it is super nice and well organized. They have a large selection of books. I picked up a large Picasso coffee table book for 5$. There is also a large kids section with a great age range in selections. They also have “Blind Date” books that are just too cute and would make a great gift for a single friend on Valentine’s. Well done on the book section! And Thank You for all you do and support for the community!

I actually like New Horizons. They have a lot of good stuff, but the prices have gotten out of hand. A dirty crockpot for $35!! I can buy a new one at Walmart for $39. I went to Goodwill and found what looks like a brand new crockpot for $10. If the prices improve, I will definitely come back , as I really appreciate their ministry of helping incarcerated mothers. I just can’t afford the prices!

I love this store. I can go in looking for one specific item usually I find that Adam but I always find a whole lot more than what I bargained for. Plus I love the music that they play.

Getting fed up with prices. Their winter gear is disgusting. $74, $54, $27.99, $64 come on. It's donated. Stop being so greedy! I asked the clerk why it's so expensive. She said "She just goes by what it sells for new and divides it up" that shouldn't be how it's done. You get free stuff, and resell it to the community that they can afford it at. Not dividing up what it's worth brand new from a store. It's not new, it's used, and it was free. Seriously stop. The arc doesn't do that, neither does goodwill. No jacket or snow pants should be over $20. Facts. Adding to the comment by them ....I understand that's why I shop there to help the cause, but you can do that without the greed on the over pricing. It's sad, we are a community here, were supposed to help support each other. This isn't Denver where people make 100k a year. We just need coats and gear to keep warm. Name brand or not. If you feel it's so high valued, maybe keep that stuff for your auctions. And keep the other prices fair and low, since it is used and free.
