So very kind and generous. Able to send photos and text post surgery. Staff was top notch. My cats surgery went great and when I had questions they responded in text to my photos with prompt responses.

Our dog was bit multiple times by a rattlesnake on our property. Brought the dog in to get anti-venom and we were told they're not taking new patients. I explained that I am not a new patient and that my dog just need an anti-venom, but we were turned away. I then had to drive my injured dog into Pueblo where we found a veterinarian that actually cares about animals to treat our dog. When dealing with an animal that has something as time sensitive as a rattlesnake bite, the idea that you would turn away ANY patient, new or otherwise, is unfathomable.

Horrible service. Definetly avoid this place!! Took my dog here for an ear infection and a couple other concerns. They gave me my dog back and an invoice/bill that showed no information about the issues I asked them to look into. When I called to address those concerns, the lady was horribly rude and very confrontational, and still to this day I don't know what's going on with my dogs leg. Rather than addressing the concerns, they'd rather collect the money and then suggest that I find another vet. I highly recommend that you take the advice I was given and go to a different vet. These guys don't really care about your furry family member, just get the money and send you down the road.

Why I do NOT recommend Fourmile Veterinary Clinic for your beloved family pet: (Note that I emailed this complaint to their team and received no call, no apology or anything of the sort.) I brought my dog, Samson, in for his first visit to Fourmile Vet Clinic on 2/16 and was very pleased with the staff and veterinarian. The next time I brought Samson in was following a full day of vomiting and not feeling well. He's a Golden Retriever, so he eats about anything and everything and I was afraid he had an obstruction. I recently took him El Paso, Texas to visit my aunt and uncle and made the grave mistake of mentioning the possibility of parvovirus to the staff. They, of course, freaked out and gave him a test which produced a false-positive. This result, according to the veterinarian, could have been from his recent vaccine provided on 2/16. She was very positive, provided some antibiotics, anti-nausea, and fluids for Samson. She told me I would know for sure if Samson had parvovirus one way or another within the next 24 hours. I left the exam room feeling positive and put Samson in my vehicle, then went back into pay. When I returned to pay, the staff was frantically cleaning everything and rather than just saying this was protocol and staying positive, they acted like he was doomed already. They were providing me with their condolences and everything that felt like, "doom and gloom," event to the point where I said out loud in the lobby, "he's not dead yet!" Following that interaction, I went home and wept and cried to my loved ones. Thankfully, my aunt (who is very knowledgable in dogs) was extremely reassuring and spoke to me for hours. That evening, Samson was lethargic, but drinking just fine. The next day, Samson woke up and was just fine. He had the energy and spunk he normally has, and was eating and drinking like normal. Sunday was even better. The next week, I received absolutely zero calls from anyone at Fourmile Vet Clinic to check on my dog. No follow-up displaying any sort of concern for my once, "doom and gloomed dog." The more time went on, the more I wanted to reach out to express my frustration but ran out of time each day. At this point, I was deliberating if I wanted to change vets or not. What really sent me over the edge was a call to confirm Samson's next vaccine appointment on Wednesday, 3/16. The message noted they wanted Samson to stay in my vehicle due to his false-positive test on 3/4. This made me so angry for several reasons. 1) If the vet staff had even taken the time to follow-up with me, they would know he was fine- OR we could have followed up to see if his test still showed a false positive. 2) If he had parvovirus on 3/4 and the veterinarian stated I would know one way or another in the next 24 hours, wouldn't Samson be over the virus by now? It's been over 10 days since our visit. I would think we would know by now, don't you? The point is that this could have been better handled in sooooo many ways. I am just ticked and feel like the staff's bedside manner is terrible. I like the vets, but those two front desk ladies need to go- and pronto. I have since changed vets and will share my unpleasant experience as necessary. I wish this clinic the best, but do truly hope they reevaluate what type of people they put on their staff and how they handle situations such as this. The lessons are: - Do not jump to conclusions of "doom and gloom," unless you know for sure. - Take into consideration of how your actions might make someone act or feel - If you're going to jump to extreme conclusions with someone's family pet, please take the time, be kind, and follow up with your clients rather than blow them off and make assumptions.

When someone calls explaining a issue, maybe atleast advise them if something is too time sensitive for your 4 week timeframe for a appointment. Called another vet in town who was atleast willing to listen to the issue, ask the Dr if it was wise to wait with said animal issue, and atleast advise me of my best options at the moment... next time ill skip on fourmile, and go the extra mile for better care

Unfortunate experience at Four Mile Vet Clinic. Yesterday our Chihuahua Blue injured himself and was unable to use his hind legs. He was in terrible pain so we called our vet clinic, Four Mile. It was after hours so we left a message and was called back by the on call Vet. He told us what to do for the night and said we should bring him in today if he wasn't any better. After a long night with no improvement I called the office first thing and got an appointment at 9:30. When

We had to say goodbye to our dog while we were on vacation in Colorado. Fourmile was kind, understanding and caring. They allowed us to schedule an appt when needed. They met us in the parking lot and escorted my dog and I (masked) into a private room and allowed me to sit with our dog while he passed. It was definitely wonderful service and beyond especially under the circumstances of the appointment and pandemic.
