I’ve been coming here for a few years now, and never had a problem until I recently brought my dog in (who is already timid to being with) and the new worker (I haven’t seen before) who came to get my dog was draggingggg him to the back room by his leash. Pulling away on him like he was some “nothing” and she didn’t give a crap. Didn’t try to comfort him or try a different approach or ask me to help, etc. I went to help him go back bc I saw what was happening and was heartbroken and pissed at the same time. The terrified look he gave me broke my heart. I should’ve said something but I didn’t, so that’s my fault.

My pups have been going here since we moved to the area in 2019. At first the care was fantastic, I truly felt they cared about my dogs. Then in about 2023 it started to feel like quality of care started to go down. The vets would give conflicting recommendations leaving us very confused and what next steps should be for our pups treatment plan. But we stuck with them hoping they would return to the previous level of care and treatment, however it’s only gotten worse especially with the recent change to a new owner/vet.
My dog had an appointment a week ago and was prescribed a medication. The medication literally just got sent to the pharmacy yesterday but the dosage is incorrect and the pharmacy said to call the vet. I did that and they said the vet would return my call before the end of the day. No phone call. It has been a week and my pup still hasn’t gotten needed medicine. I’ve called multiple times trying to get this figured out.
I understand that with any change there may be bumps in the road and adjustments but the quality of care shouldn’t diminish.

Been going here for nearly 20 years. They are caring, know us well, and love our pets! They treat all visits like it’s their own furry family and I just am so grateful for this vet hospital.

Mandalay Animal Hospital misdiagnosed my pup. Next day when I called and told them about an inflammation on his chest, instead of sending us to a specialist they scheduled a follow up three days out.
Worse still, during the follow up they were completely clueless as to his condition. That's when they sent us to CASE in Boulder, a vet that actually knows what they are doing. Turns out my dog had an acute stomach necrotizing fascitis. Because of Mandalay Animal Hospital and their lack of knowledge and professionalism my dog lost 72 hours, during which the infection spread from his chest to groin. There isn't much more to say about this incompetent outfit, keep your pups away!

Would recommend this vet over and over again. My dog got an extremely deep cut and needed emergency stitches and staples. Mandalay got us right in and the doctor graciously cut her lunch short to get him in ASAP. He is now home and on the mend. I can’t thank Mandalay enough their entire staff is amazing.

I had my first visit with this veterinarian clinic. It's was in regards to my senior dog who was not well. They are the most compassionate staff that I have seen in a long time. I will definitely recommend them and continue to go to them.

I feel SO fortunate to have my pets in the care of Dr. Humphrey. She is one in a million. She takes her time, explains everything so that I understand, and her thoughtfulness and compassion for the animals is genuine. She calls me to follow up and is patient with my questions. When my senior dog passed, my family received a beautiful card that wasn’t just signed by her, but she wrote the most heartfelt sentiments in it. She is a fantastic veterinarian.

This is the worst animal hospital I have ever taken my animals to. We have been coming here for years and the last few years the service has gone completely downhill. The front office lost track of our appointment and refused to assist our animals due to their own error. The same situation happened with our family member's that recently switch to a more organized and caring facility. At the end of our last visit, they decided to change their policies without prior notification that resulted in a $300 vet bill for shots that was only supposed to be $40. This place is unprofessional, disorganized and we were treated like garage most likely due to our race. Do not waste your money on a place that doesn't embrace diversity and treats their customers with disrespect.
