Got so much food for me and my kids. Was fairly quick to. I made an appointment and trust me it’s worth it. You have to make a profile and sign up for a appointment time or you can do walk ins on certain days go to website to find that info but I’m glad I made the appointment instead of walk in. Also went thru the thrift store got some clothes for all of us and we made Easter baskets kids was so happy to get that candy and toys I just let them go crazy when we got home lol we literally didn’t even eat breakfast because we had no food but God made a way thru Joyful Journey food pantry thank you! I’ll be forever grateful. Got allot of pull ups and a pack of wipes as well!

Joyful Journeys operates a food bank. They receive free food in exchange for distributing that food to Foodbank of the Rockies Client ID holders with an appointment.Yet, today, I witnessed two such Client ID holders denied access to their food bank, in direct contradiction to the "We Help Anyone' claim on their website and stated goals for Federal Grant recipients because there was some confusion about 15 vs 20 minute appointments, and what to do with any time available between scheduled appointments.Apparently, any unused/idle time between appointments must be used up in an attempt to justify turning away homeless people on site, because today I listened as the staff there failed to state any rational explaination/justification for denying two homeless people 5 minutes of time to receive any food.When one homeless man requested 5 minutes of access before their next appointment, the staff offered to call the police to enforce their irrational denial of emergency access policy.When homeless people, in need of emergency supplies of food, spend time and resources to get to a food bank, it is unconscionable to think that they could be met with this level of contempt and disregard for decency.I really question the wisdom of donating food to Joyful Journey's foodbank. A Food Bank organization with integrity ought to have a policy in place to offer some sort of emergency provisions to help anyone in despirate need. To do otherwise makes the Journey far from Joyful.

Hidden gem! Lots of cool things to find, including a whole children's section, and much of it is bulk priced ($20 cash/$25 credit per cartload). The entrance is in an industrial area but is clearly marked and there is street parking. Glad we decided to go!

Joyful journey is a hidden treasure a thrift shop, they have a food bank they help so many families weekly & it’s open 7 days a week. So many programs for kids cheer & dance. Tumbling for the tiny ones. They help fire victims from the Blouder fire. They help refugees and help get items for families in need. They do a Santa shop every year giving 1,000’s of gifts out. Tasha & her team love working with the public helping there community… Love this place

Joyful Journeys Community Enrichment is a wonderful non-profit organization. They strive to help all families and individuals regardless of their status. They always bring community events to communities that need it. They run a food bank and thrift store seven days a week, and work tirelessly to help anyone who comes through their doors. In addition, they run sports programs for kids that are not otherwise able to participate in sports.

Maybe their thrift store and other community programs are ok but if you have to work with them as a volunteer what a joke. I agreed to be a coach for a sideline cheer program they were starting openly stating I had no cheer experience. I guess I expected too much when I thought we might get some help from their already-established cheer program. I then decided to break away from Joyful Journey's. I had to jump through the most ridiculous loop holes to use the remainder of our funds with them also threatening that it wasn't my cheer teams money anymore because we were no longer part of their organization. They stated these were the laws of a non profit and called me uneducated for questioning them. Spoiler! There are no laws for a 501(c)(3) that state I had to do what they were asking me to do. The director Tasha also attempted to defame my character to the youth organization I was working with without ever meeting me or ever working with me! SHADY!!

I drove out here to pick up one of their Facebook marketplace offerings just for them to tell me it sold and they never updated the listing. Wish y'all would have answered the phone so I wouldn't need to drive there for nothing.

I love joyful journey and the event and the work they do for the community but I also fallen on hard times n have to use there food bank a couple times n the food always expired I get that it should be but milk and eggs n meat shouldn't be something you give if it passed it date now I only got here for the shopping and events they have !
