Called to speak with a manager on duty about an order and Tonya answered the phone very rudely and unprofessionally; I asked for her to transfer me to an MOD and was told "yeah I guess so" I'm a very rude and nasty tone of voice. Be better Tonya. I get that you probably hate your job but don't take it out on people just trying to use the service you provide.

It's like a sporting goods store and a tractor supply had a child! If it can be used outdoors, whether in the woods or on a farm, they probably have it. My only complaint is that I don't have one near me.......here's to wishing!

I needed a new pair of boots and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. Excellent service and an excellent product.

I recently visited JAX Broomfield Outdoor Gear, Farm & Ranch and had a mixed experience. Here's my three-star review:Pros:Decent Selection: JAX offers a wide range of outdoor gear and farm supplies. Whether you're looking for camping equipment, gardening tools, or pet supplies, they have a good variety to choose from.Friendly Staff: The staff members were generally friendly and willing to assist customers. They seemed knowledgeable about the products and were happy to answer questions.Convenient Location: The store's location is convenient, and it's somewhat easy to find what you're looking for due to the well-organized layout.Cons:Pricing: While the selection is good, I found some of the prices to be on the higher side. It's essential to compare prices with other stores in the area before making a purchase.Inventory Management: I was disappointed to find that some items I was looking for were out of stock. Or never really in stock in the first place. It was hard to tell and it would be great if they could improve their inventory management to ensure popular items are consistently available. In summary, JAX Broomfield Outdoor Gear, Farm & Ranch has potential but has room for improvement in terms of pricing and inventory management. There never seemed to be a 'busy' time for this particular store. I doubt it translates to any significant profits. I like having the store in the area, but with 4 mega competors within 2 miles and I don't feel like this store is going to be able to survive much longer. However, for now, It's worth a visit for their selection, but be prepared to shop around for the best deals.

We're not local but visit family in Broomfield a few times a year. JAX is a stop we always make. Of course, there's outdoor gear, but also food items, clothing, toys (both children's and pet) and a cafe with ice cream & coffee. This time I found a hat for our upcoming trip to Joshua Tree and we always buy food items as gifts for family. We love this place!

Fishing department worker couldn’t re-spool my fishing reels, told me nobody really does closed face reels. Went to sportsman’s warehouse the next day, they did it no problem.

I've had nothing but quality customer care while shopping for hunting supplies at Jax. In one specific case, Jake and Don spared me a ton of grief by guiding me through the process of selecting the right optics and mounting hardware for my rifle. If I had gone with my original choices, the bolt on my rifle would've been hitting the scope on ejection. Luckily Jake and Don helped me avoid this. Very grateful for their excellent service. They made me a regular customer.

Terrible customer service in shoe dept. Drive up from Aurora to buy podiatrist recommended shoes and orthotics. One older lady ignored 7 customers who waited over half an hour for assistance. She spent 20 minutes talking about her hiking experience. Five of us left without buying. A man employed at another Jax was dismayed at the lack of service and remarked that this location is nothing like his Jax store. The sales woman saw everyone waiting and chose to ignore us.

Bryan L in the outdoor power equipment was amazing. Great guy and good customer service, this guy should be running the place. Would recommend talking to him if you need a new chainsaw or any outdoor tools.

My husband and I were just in the store standing behind a customer that was getting heavily discriminated against by the paint department, then came up said that he has stole in the store before. They couldn't provide any proof to this customer and he was very confused, obviously has not stolen anything. Was just trying to buy a rooftop tent with cash, and they weren't allowing him to pay with cash and was demanding his name And getting in his face. They just lost a $5000 purchase due to the paint department man simply not liking someone and discriminating a customer.

Aside from their higher than average prices, this place is self-contradictory in the worst way. As an avid outdoorsman who spends over a month per year in the mountains, I went in for a specific type of ammo and was told they don't sell 223/556 ammo and they don't sell anything related to the country's most popular rifle platform (again 223/556) because it is considered an "assault type". I decided to still shop around a bit and that's when I saw a sticker that read "No Politics" at their gun counter of all places. Are you kidding me, you are the exact opposite of your very own sticker. So again, JAX is very much a confused and self-contradictory store that doesn't sell a very common outdoor platform/item, and their prices are higher than their competitors in almost every category from hardware to farming supplies and even those little chicks they sell.

This place is neat, I'd never been in a Jax before and the employees were super friendly. To my dismay, I couldn't find many clothes for bigger dudes, it looked like 2X and 3X were about as large as I could find. Then I was trying to find a sandal/hiking shoe that fit, we asked an employee if a brand I liked had wide sizes, they weren't sure and gabbed the "Shoe Department Manager" to help us. We asked the same question to which they responded, "this brand is probably the widest", then left to go chat with other employees. I've been to shoe stores where the staff actively helps you find a shoe that fits, but this was not the case. Maybe it was because it was an hour before close, but this "Shoe Department Manager" didn't give us any help whatsoever. I didn't get her name, but it was a young to middle aged lady in her 20s-30s maybe?I finally found a shoe that fit, then I left and bought it on Zappos...I wanted to give Jax my business, but that manager didn't want it...

Very unhelpful fishing department. Asked guy to help me set up a fly rod for my first time and all he did was suggest wanted I should do and told me to go watch a video. So glad I drove 35 minutes for that.
