I really love this dog park, its always clean, the people are respectful of your dog, and there is a water source available inside the park which is awesome ! No need to bring dog bowls unless its winter. They will shut the water off after the first frost. My only problem is there really isnt enough shade in the summer but i didnt want to dim the rating for that. They put up some shade posts but its not quite enough, maybe another two posts would help a lot. Over all great park.

Spacious, well kept dog park located in the main park. Water fountain, several trees for shade. Sides for small and large dogs. Points of interest like logs, tree stumps, and a fire hydrant for the pups to enjoy.
Access to extra paths in the park if you want to stretch your legs or it gets busy. Park restrooms nearby!
Toilets: Restroom facility at the west end of the parking lot
Dog-friendliness: Considerate dog owners, well maintained, benches and shade, drinking fountain with dog access, logs/stumps/hydrant and other points of interest for the pups

This dog park is awesome. Tons of space to throw a ball and let your dog run. Parents bringing kids under 10 and babies in (in unattended strollers, no less) is not awesome, it causes serious anxiety for dog owners and their dogs.
Some puppies or other dogs may not be great around children or not even used to seeing them which can cause dogs to bark in fear of a strange tiny human. Some dogs have prey drives, some dogs are herding breeds that nip, some dogs are big puppies that outweigh your toddler and are still learning not to jump up. Lots of people don’t train their dogs to have good recall. Lots of dogs like to park run and take out people’s legs from under them in a high speed collision. Some people choose to endanger their <60lbs kid in this chaos.
The Broomfield county website “Tips for bringing kids to the dog park” straight up tells parents that dogs may mistake your kid for a prey animal. It’s basically saying “hey just so you know your kid may get mauled OR WORSE coming in here.”
Protect your kid and just don’t chance it. Let the dog owners throw the tennis balls in peace. Take your kid to a kid park, there’s plenty of those.

We love this dog park. There are two sides small dogs and large dogs and a great water fountain. The people and the dogs are friendly and welcoming to newbies.

I have a 3 month old puppy. I brought him to this dog park & upon arriving several dogs came over to greet him. There was one small Schnauzer mixed dog that came over & immediately began to get aggressive. I figured I'd let them be dogs & figure it out. But when the Schnauzer begin to nip & bite at my puppy. I picked him & I began to yell at the other humans for someone to come & get their obviously overly-aggressive dog. No one did a thing, nor did anyone step forward to claim the animal. It wasn't until I threatened to kick the animal that a lady responded, "I'll come & get him". Clearly they are animal lovers, so I can only speculate why they hesitated to retrieve this animal. But a very bad place, bad experience & even worse humans.

The ground is dirt, so it can be a little dirty, but there are always lots of dogs. This is definitely my go to park.

Great spacious park for your dogs to run and have fun in the sun, there's a water spicket with a bowl in both the big dog and little dog side so there is no need to bring water with unless you really want to. There are numerous spots with p*** bag dispensers and trashcans. The only problem is the ground. It's made up of all sand no grass or anything. There are some small trees scattered across both sides for shade except it's not very helpful as three or four feet around the base of the tree are blocked with fences. They also have a couple benches under pavilions, but the roofs aren't large enough to provide adequate shade.
