Picking up persciptons girl told me only one ready pull around will have other in 15 min. Waited pulled around then she says only have one script after having me wait for second scipt to get filled So whats the truth? Called hospital they resent to king sooper now showing filled at walgreens after they said only one. Now have to call insurance to get real story just to get a perscription walgreens said didnt get and made me wait for but charged insurance for?????????
Now have wait call Monday to notify insurance of a persciption walgreens made me wait twice for to say they never got.
No stars sometimes better to drive a little further for a reputable pharmacy than to settle for poor service and no accountability.

Worst customer service, called before going to the store to get passport pictures, we showed up and they tell us photo department is closed, and manager was rude and unprofessional

I have been getting my prescription here because it is closer to where I'm staying. Everytime I come here I have issues. They are rude and unprofessional. They say it's ready then it's not. I picked up a refill last week. I went to get my refill and they told me I would not be able to get medicaid covering my prescription because I just picked it up 2 days ago which was incorrect. They then proceeded to tell me that they haven not filled up my prescription because they have 200 other people they need to fill. Very unprofessional and rude and does not do their job correctly. I have never had any issue with getting my stuff untill I transfered my stuff to this Walgreens.

Google maps, store phone, and corporate all say this Walgreens is temporarily closed. I have not been able to get in contact with the store through the app/phone.
I was unable to figure out what was going on with my medications and could not transfer them to another pharmacy because they couldn't get a hold of anyone either.
I went to see if there was a sign explaining anything or when they'll be open again, and found out that they are NOT closed, there's just a sign saying "sorry our phone is down :(".
This was the last straw for me.
I've had issues getting refills, they'll tell me they have something in stock and then I'll get a message saying it's delayed because they don't have it.
No issues with the customer service or individual people, but in my experience (and others I've talked to) Walgreens as a whole is going downhill. I'd recommend going elsewhere for prescriptions.

If I could give TEN stars I would! ! ! ! All thanks to Janea in the Pharmacy @ the Brighton Location (not sure of correct spelling - sorry if this is the wrong spelling). * Long post warning * Me and the Mrs. use this Walgreens for our prescription needs, since it is the closest to our location. We have never had any complaints or issues with this location, they have always been very friendly, and helpful with any prescription questions that we have had. Unfortunately, my wife came down with Covid 19 from over the weekend, and our Doc put in a prescription for Paxlovid (the common cure for Covid now days). Well, to my surprise, I go to pick up the prescription and the price is over $300.00, with insurance (no longer the government issue, commercial issue now). It wasn't that I didnt have the money to pay for it, I want my wife to get better. I would pay $1k if I had to, just so my wife could get rid of this crud. But it was the sticker shock of what the cost was before, compared to now. Janea "The pharmacist" must have seen the look on my face, and proceeded to tell me about a program that I could apply for, that could bring the cost of the medicine down in price and possibly save me a couple hundred dollars. She gave me the paper to call, which I texted to my wife, within a matter of few minutes she was approved, gave her a card to show to the pharmacist, which she emailed to me, and I kid you not, the bill for the Paxlovid came down from over $300.00 down to $0.00 out of pocket! Most employee's would not go out of their way to help their customers save money in this day in age. However, I do have to say that "Janea" (again, sorry if the spelling is wrong), deserves a big pat on her back, for her customer service, friendliness, and willing to step out of the box and go the extra mile and offer assistance, in a situation like this. Walgreens, you have a very valuable employee here, an asset to Walgreens. Make sure you treat her well, because she most defiantly looks out for her customers, and their needs. Plus with that attitude and willingness to help, she will go far! ! She was also nice enough to tell me, that she hoped that my wife started feeling better soon. :-) THANK YOU AGAIN JANEA! ! ! ! YOU ROCK ! ! ! ! !

Horrible pharmacy. The lines are extremely long. They are hardly open and today they closed EARLY after I have been waiting all evening. I called to question why and they stated I can get the medication transferred to 120th.

Showed the pharmacist my rx of adhd meds before transferring it over (controlled substance, second pharmacy) the man tells me he’s sure they have it if not they have the name brand and assures me they take my insurance. I transfer my rx come in the next day and my rx is not filled, they have not called, they do not have the medicine, the female pharmacist on shift says they don’t and haven’t carried that medicine/dose only the name brand and they can’t even order in the generic.. now I am a week in waiting for my insurance to pre approve the name brand because I don’t want to transfer my rx to yet another pharmacy and I can’t even get the automated phone system to let me talk to the pharmacy so I have to drive in daily. Is this every Walgreens? Or just brightons?

The pharmacy- Communication is rare. No follow up, the patient has to initiate everything. No one can seem to assist, passing the blame or reason with no results. They are super shady and don't seem to know the by laws. They never have enough meds on hand to fulfill a prescription. It's extremely frustrating.

I sent in a same-day order for a photo book. I waited patiently, and a few days later I got a call promising it would be done by Friday. I called on Friday to check in, and a very rude woman in the photo department told me that they never promised me that, and it would be at least a few more days because they were out of supplies. I am a busy school teacher and spent several hours creating a gift for my parents. And now I can't give it to them before they fly back home. If they were honest from the get-go I would have had time to get it printed somewhere else.

My doctor send my prescriptions yesterday afternoon which is 25th December, I get it everything is closed due to Christmas, but very next day I waited all but they didn’t even send me a text regarding my prescriptions I called the Walgreens but too busy somehow I got connected to automated voice system. I entered my information then it says my prescriptions will be ready 27th. Seriously what kinda pharmacy is this?? In impatiently waiting for my meds this is what I got. My boyfriend reached out to them then they said, they have problem with my insurance, so my question is why on this earth this pharmacy did not even try to reach out to me to discuss that??? What do you expect from a pharmacy when people are sick and need of help(meds)Are these people who work on these pharmacies dead or on drugs or something? How would the patient know what’s happening on their end unless they let the patient know???How could there pharmacists be so irresponsible and ignorant? Why Walgreens even hire pharmacists that can’t handle such thing, yes it’s Christmas but also they are on the clock, and Walgreens are known for pharmacy

I called I about checking the status of my perscription and a man picked up and asked if I used the website or automated system, when I said "no i didnt want-" he cut me off and didn't even wait till I was done speaking and told me "it's going to be a 15-20 minute wait" and put me on hold. This is extremely unprofessional and I can't believe that even though there are other callers writing similar reviews that nothing has been done about it. DO BETTER

I don’t usually leave reviews but I am feeling horrible! I needed to get antibiotics for my little girl and the man who answered the phone was extremely rude. He said can you not use your mobile app or other means to see if this prescription is ready and I said no because this is my first time getting this here for my kid and so I don’t have one set up and he said well then I guess you will be on hold for 15 min….so I waited and waited I was the only caller by the way then he answered again so I again asked for the status and he said he has other people to attend to and put me back on hold and left me there. So please don’t go here you will be disrespected also if this has happened to you please share and get his name because he didn’t tell me his. And this shouldn’t happen.

Do not send critical scripts to this place. They are horrible. Multiple calls where they answer and hang up. Won’t take the time to ensure your issue on a critical script is being resolved. I just spent 52 minutes trying to reach someone and it is for important medicine for my daughter. You suck Walgreens of Brighton Pharmacy. Suck.
