We have gone through several mail carriers throughout the years. Our current mail carriers can't seem to figure out street addresses. My mail and packages get delivered to a house a block over. It's 50/50 if I ever receive them back. Brighton Post Office is worthless.

I requested a mail hold for a vacation and received a confirmation email. Somehow my hold never actually got communicated to my carrier. I got a call while out of town from my next door neighbor, who said that a bunch of our mail was delivered to his box.I called the post office and they just said that the carrier didn’t have the hold info.I guess that I need to call in the future to make sure they actually communicate with the carrier… seems like that’s something that should be automated when I put in the request.

The employee that helped me today… you can totally tell is burnt out. I get being overworked, underpaid, and all that in-between. This guys customer service was not good at all.First off… it was my first time shipping a package USPS. I don’t know if they package it for you or not. I’ve only done UPS (but they charge an arm and a leg). He tried to convince me I could ship a couple of my packages as is, but I stated I’d like to box them. He kinda looked at me like I was crazy for wanting to ship to more than 2 places, and commented it’s more. Which is fine, I’m more concerned about protecting the packages. So I packed them. Came back in line. He kept making comments how big the boxes were for the packages, and “that’s big”, in a very quiet but condescending way. Managed to drop a box on the floor. Not saying sorry or asking if anything was fragile. Luckily there wasn’t anything fragile in the one he dropped. He was rough when handling the boxes, and was not very customer service friendly.Again, I get burn out and stuff, but please don’t make me feel dumber than I am, all because I’m trying to ship some packages. And please don’t break my stuff because you are having a rough day.I’m giving this a 2/5, and not a 1/5, because Customer Service sucks. I really hope this guy finds a way to enjoy his job or find a new one.

Kristy was very helpful over the phone. I called to see if my package was there. She ended up having to call another location and was able to find it and even called me back when it showed up to their location. When I went in to get the package, the man behind the counter was friendly and helpful as well.

This is hard for me as I really do appreciate many of the employees at this location. However, my recent experience with their management and the post master never speaking with me despite the many a times I’ve made in person in by phone. I have lost mail, no one is helping me with a refund on a PO box I never rendered services for and the poor customer service. I am reviewing this location at 2 stars.

Went to do a passport renewal. Darren knew how to expedite and handle the entire process, so we were in and out quickly. He was also very pleasant to interact with.

I went in with a very urgent matter and they were very rude and dismissive and said that they could not help me and they had nothing to do with it and sent me away. I called the national USPS number and they helped me there, and told me that this postal office SHOULD Have helped me but didn’t feel like doing their job. Very disappointed as this is a very urgent matter.

September 2023 by Thank You
For almost 2 years I have had a lot of problems receiving my mail I had recently gotten approved for social security disability I also had no other option but to get paper check and get it mailed to me there's an individual at the Brighton post office name Roberta I call every month and ask her if my check is there and she has to go check for me I think that this is one of the most compassionate things that someone can do she says it's part of her job but a lot of people wouldn't get up just to check to see if someone's mail is there it's my responsibility to do that unfortunately I have to rely on Uber so it saves me money so I wanted to thank you Roberta and I wanted to tell you that you're an amazing person this is Elaine Smith

Had a return for a pair of jeans with a pre paid and printed postage and wouldn't direct me to put into one of their soft delivery bags.I was told to package it in a box and tape it up then come back later.

I have a local worker who picks up packages everyday, I love her! She comes everyday, very friendly and responsible. I used to live in a big city where my package randomly vanished. But have not had a lost package since then. I can’t really talk for inside as I just drop things off but I imagine peak times will be a long wait. As in any city.

Their communication with the local annex facility is unbelievably bad. I moved to this zip code about 3 weeks ago and have yet to receive my mail due to a variety of miscommunications between the two facilities and security measures. After 2 physical trips to the post office and 2 identical slips filled out indicating I live at the address they are telling me I will finally have my mail next business day.
