Update! It took almost 7months of calling and going to the store for ONE person to take me serious when transferred to a higher up phone call and then helped me get my money out that they were holding. They saw no fault of mine for this to happen. This has been the worst experience with a bank Iv ever had. Doing much better banking with Colorado Credit Union.Original review:Iv banked with them since I got my first paycheck. Everyone there has always looked so gloomy and unwelcoming when you walk in. But It’s been years with them and all has been decent but there was one dispute on my account and they decided to close my account with a 2 second phone call with someone saying they didn’t believe me. It’s been 3 months since my account closed, I haven’t been able to get any of my money out, and all customer service has been less than caring to me. Even just asking for updates they do not care that they have all my money and tell me to just wait. Even my concerns of telling them Iv been banking with them for a long time guess that doesn’t matter.Each time they always have me wait on phone to transfer to someone else and no answers other than going to another person to tell me they have to transfer to another person… how does this bank function?

I hate the fact that they installed a drive up banking in the same line they have the drive up ATM. It really is inconvenient. I just want to withdraw money, and sometimes I sit in line for 10 to 15 minutes. Then someone is behind me waiting. Really stupid decision. ?

I suggest the management of this bank trains all bank representatives on every possible capability when opening a new account. Providing me with my debit card to add to my digital wallet would’ve saved a ton of time and unnecessary stress of not being able to access my money other than going into the branch. We are in 2023 they can do better.

They made me open a new account even though I had one already open with a card. I called first bank customer service prior and they said long as I had the card everything would be fine, to just go in and they WOULDNT need to register a whole new account, but sure enough this branch decided to make me register for a new account as if it doesn’t take almost 2 weeks for the card to come in the mail! It’s disappointing I can’t access my funds or do anything until the card comes. They take weeks.

Since the change in staff at this bank at this branch I've had an account here for 10 years started my account at this branch but now since new staff it's been horrible just went today to try to deposit some checks and cash check from a client from an insurance claim always done this and they won't accept the checks worst customer service ever.

Currently banking with these people and shopping around for a new bank, so many issues with this bank, first of all if you use any money services that verify through Plaid or anything they always have issues, if you shop 420 this bank will not allow you to purchase with your card making it a hassle, I've also been in for cashiers checks and they always seem to take 30 minutes or more to get this done. There is also never a smiling face in this bank, everyone is so gloomy and the mood is just bad. I do not recommend this bank, I should have stuck with Huntington or Chase.

Consistent great customer service. We moved to 1st Bank after our bank sold and went downhill quick under new ownership. Took a lot for us to move all our accts after being with the other bank for decades. We are SO glad we made the move. 1st Bank has been great! It is rare nowadays to be called by name and acknowledged when you wait in line. Simple things like "we will be right with you or we apologize for the wait" are rare in most businesses now but common at this location.

I had a customer send me a fraudulent check deposited it looked good to me they cashed it then took the deposit back and closed my account.very unprofessional in my opinion. And they were rude on the phone about it. Wasn't my fault.

Why is there a drive up if you have to go inside to cash their own checks? Plus they charge $5 to cash *their own checks*. What kind of usury is this?This doesn't entice me to open an account with them. And they practically require blood donation to cash their checks. It's crazy.

I swear they do twice the paperwork of any other bank, and take forever with the drive thru people.
