This gas station is the most convenient and has always had competitive prices and as a bonus, I could use my Fuel Points from City Market. This summer, they have consistently kept their prices >$0.45 per gallon higher than neighboring towns in Frisco, Silverthorne, Leadville. They are just trying to take more money from the local community. Save yourself some money, drive to Frisco.

This Kroger was only 15 minutes from our lodge and had everything we needed for our stay. We made several trips during our week-long stay.

Part of the Kroger chain. Conveniently located on the main drag. Had everything we needed for the week. Nothing fancy, crowded on the weekends, but it does the trick. Sign up ahead of time and get their shopper's card and save some money as well!

This is the only major grocery store in Breckenridge - as such it gets crazy busy. It really needs a remodel and because of the amount of traffic it gets and its size/location, it often sells out of items. Ont eh way into town from I-70 there is a large WholeFoods, a much less busy Safeway, and a new Natural Grocers which are all better options. In town, there is the much smaller Breckenridge Market and Liquor on Ridge ST which is our go-to for things we need during our stays.

Don’t let the reviews fool you, this is still the best place to fuel up in Breck. These reviewers must be used to large towns with a selection of gas stations. When you show up all the pumps will be full and the lot is so tiny that you’ll spend 20 minutes playing musical cars but once you’re in there’s a good chance that the pump will work (but not always!)The selection inside is pretty decent, and while the bathrooms aren’t CLEAN there won’t be human excrement on the walls like you’re bound to find in the station up the road. There is another stop on the south end of town but there are even fewer pumps and the convenience items are outrageously priced. Beggars can’t be choosers, so just fuel up and be kind!!
